@star2000shadow: Still looks pretty good, and you're welcome! Thank you as well! <3
@star2000shadow: You're welcome, and also meant to say that I love your avi. <3
@star2000shadow: Alrighty, I'll start the trade and I'll put the volt amount in the title of the trade. :) No rush, and thanks for buying!
@Yae Meiji: Sounds like a stressful situation for you, but glad you had stable housing at least? Work tends to leave me too tired to socialize as much as I'd like to here, hence I disappear a lot.
@star2000shadow: Sure! If you'd still like the Tropical Trainer, just confirm and I'll start the trade. Sorry, I've been away over the last week or so.

@Lithinel: I apologize for the wait! Are you still interested in the above-mentioned items? If so, I can start a trade?
@star2000shadow: No problem, and I know! These new items are so good!
Just need you to accept the trade and it'll be finalized. :) Thanks for buying!
@star2000shadow: I'm doing all right.
Also about the trade we have, I'll be happy to accept as is if you are? I legit don't remember how much I asked for in volts, but I think that's enough. xD

@Spider: I'll buy whatever you have left if you have any Deadly Darling? ouo Just looking for 2 altogether, but I'm happy with 1 if that's what you have lol.
@Wildfire: lol that sounds pretty funny about your hibiscus plants. I had no idea they could get so big if left unattended. The ones we have at work easily reach the second story in height.

Yeah, mostly dead palm fronds and parts, plus the usual leaves, twigs, and such from other trees.
I was mortified that Ian strengthened when it left Florida and gave the Carolinas some grief. This really has been an unpredictable storm for the books.

@Edalyn: I can relate to feeling like you just don't mesh well with others, and that's okay. It's exhausting trying to hold a conversation that just isn't there.

Have you tried talking with your friend (boyfriend?) about it? You said every time you try, you feel like you're being interrogating. I'd just ask him point blank to speak with you privately and let him know how you feel. Reiterate that you don't think they're bad people--you just think that you're not meshing well because you can't hold a decent conversation. There's nothing wrong with that. Have you tried talking about common interests and hobbies? Sometimes playing games together helps.

I consider myself an omnivert where I have qualities of both extroverts and introverts. Sometimes my social battery gets low real quick, but what helps me hang in there is finding common interests and fun games to play. I was hosting my in-laws back in August for over a week, and in the evenings I'd be so tired that I'd seclude myself to my room. I felt bad, but I didn't want to push myself to pretend like I was having a good time. I kept getting invited to play cards, which I never felt like doing until the final couple of nights, and it was really fun!
@Wildfire: Yep, we made it out of the storm great. Lots of debris around, but that's cool. No damage to speak of for us.

How about you?
@Wildfire: Thanks. <3 It's not so bad if you have a plan on where to go and how to get there, but when that gets tossed in the air, then it's nerve-wracking. My workplace has historically evacuated to a specific hotel up by the airport and they had a bus on reserve for such a purpose. However, both of those plans were shot this year, so we were scrambling to get plans in place for our residents and staff to evacuate. We are hoping to return as early as tomorrow afternoon, but might have to wait until Saturday.

I'm staying with my parents, whose county didn't get mandatory evacuation orders. Which is odd because usually when I do, they're soon to follow. And normally we evacuate to my aunt's, who lives in a non-evacuation zone, but luckily we didn't have to do that this year.
Just checking in that I'm doing okay. I'm so fortunate that I'm in the Jacksonville area, so we pretty much got the tropical storm level of Ian. Saw some footage of our southern neighbors and I feel for them a lot. Matthew and Irma did a number on us a few years ago, and this was our 4th time evacuating within 7 years. My workplace is in Zone A, as well as my apartment. Hoping one day when I can get a house, it won't be in an evacuation zone, because evacuation is exhausting.
