I feel like it's learning how to turn your mind "off", which I know is difficult for a lot of people.
@Alorrena: Man, a white and black mocha sounds right up my alley! I adore nut flavors in my coffee, the only exception being peanut. I'm very picky when it comes to peanut-flavored anything. But amaretto and hazelnut are my favorites to add to coffee.

I'd love to go somewhere that I could see not-your-typical sky, like the Aurora Borealis or anything like that. <3 I'd love to see a meteor shower as well.

Aw man, I miss Los Betos because they were open hella late and I could always count on them for hot food when everyone else was closed lol. I've never been to Golden Star, but we used to go to this place, I think it was called Golden Dragon? I can't remember, and trying to look it up doesn't help. xD Anyway, they had the best orange beef that I would compare everyone else's orange beef to lol. I miss Jack-in-the-Box too, mostly because they had a little of everything, so I'd often get their chicken teriyaki bowl with a side of tots. xDD Been to Tucanos once, and thought it was okay. The price was mostly what put me off, but I understand a lot of Brazilian steakhouses are that way. Other favorite restaurants in the area were Zen Bento, Sushiya, and Burnt Lemon.

Glad you had a fun time with glass blowing! I've done it once when I lived in Okinawa, and it was really hard for me. xD To be fair, the plant we went to was run by the Okinawan people, so the language barrier made it difficult to learn the technique. I wonder where my cup that I made ended up.....might have been broken, or it's stuck in storage somewhere.

@Bonnie: You both
@Wildfire: have cute avis! <3

@Artemis: I'm psyched for the new season of Stranger Things too! I saw the preview for the new season like way back in 2019 or whatever it was and when they showed one of the characters, I was like, "I KNEW IT!!" xD

I'm a big fan of a lot of those series you've mentioned. <3 Only ones I haven't seen or haven't heard of are Natsume's Book of Friends, Detective Conan, Darling in the Franxx, Bleach, and Laid Back Camp. I thiiink the only Ghibli movie I haven't seen yet is My Neighbors the Yamadas, but I know I have to rewatch a lot of them because I forget the story lines and such. My top 3 in order are Spirited Away (BIG No Face fan), Howl's Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke. Actually Princess Mononoke was my first anime film watched, and I was like 9 or 10 at the time? You can imagine how I felt about the opening scenes. xD

Regarding the other series you've listed, I loved the new seasons of Demon Slayer and BNHA, plus the movies were great! FMAB and Inuyasha will always hold special places in my heart. I have to rewatch OHSHC, and I remember being bummed out that they didn't continue the series, so maybe one day I'll read the manga.
@Alorrena: Dutch is my favorite coffee for sure lol. I'm a fiend for their blended Annihilator with an extra shot! Or their peach mango smoothies. <3 What are your favorite drinks? I had to giggle when I learned about their supposed straw colour code. xD

Riiiight?! Plus the fact that you can see STARS out there! I'm so used to city life that I'm not used to seeing a lot of them, but when I went out there the first time, we were driving down one of those country roads between towns, and his brother told us to pull over so he could show me the stars. I almost CRIED they were so pretty!! And I like being able to look around and see for miles versus having trees everywhere. So are you originally from Idaho?

And you're telling me! I went back for a quick trip in May 2019 and a lot seemed new. I know Boise and Twin are two of the fastest growing cities over there because of all the Californians moving in. xP I really do love how green the cities over there seem to be. And I miss a lot of the restaurants over there as well.

Reading about your trip over there sounds like a real nightmare. x-x Glad you got there okay though!

@MaxIsConfused: Wouldn't surprise me if that's the case. My eczema tends to get worse with drastic weather changes, so wouldn't be surprised if the same was said for other conditions lol.

@GoblinsAndTea: Sending virtual hugs!!! That's a lot to go through in such a short amount of time, so I totally get how you feel! Everyone grieves differently, and don't you let anyone make you feel bad about how you do it (including yourself).

I'm glad you got to be with your dog in her last moments, because I'm sure that helped ease her on her journey. I lost my hedgehog to cancer last year, and what got me through it was knowing the inevitable and being there in her last moments. I doubt I would have been the same if I'd just found her, gone. I have one of her quills stuck in a hedgehog plush that I have hanging from my car's rearview mirror, and I have one of her teeth that was pulled when we found the cancer (it was in her mouth). One day I'd like to figure out a way to put that tooth in some jewelry, like resin or something, but want to get more ideas first.

Although I don't really know you, I'm proud of you for going to the rehab center despite your reservations, and for making plans to be social with your friends to help you through these tough times!!

@Artemis: Welcome back! I too like Stranger Things and anime lol. What are your favorite series in anime?

@Miss Sandman: Glad you're all doing okay overall! Get well soon!

That sucks. I get random bouts of that from time to time, usually because I'm feeling anxious about something. I hate losing sleep though.

My mom and fiance get allergies bad during pollen season, and I'm so glad I don't. Fiance gets hella sneezy and my mom is about the same plus eye issues. I do get a random time usually in late fall/early winter where I'm incredibly sneezy for a few days and I haven't identified what sets me off. I get irate with it though because I hate feeling anything but "normal" lol.

Neat! I've never had fresh eggs (that I'm aware of) but I've always wanted to try them! I'd totes be down to raise a chicken to produce eggs if I had the right environment for one. Maybe when I get a house!!
@Alorrena: Oh wow! Yeah I lived in Boise from like March-October 2015 lol. Reason is because my fiance is from Burley, but he was living in Boise at the time with his roommates and he asked me to live with him when I was visiting him for the first time. xD Kinda spur-of-the-moment decision, but it was an experience I absolutely loved. Quite a change in scenery compared to Florida! While living there, we'd travel back and forth between Boise, Twin Falls, Wendell, and Burley since that's where most of his family lives. I sooooo miss Dutch Bros Coffee and wish we could get one here in Jacksonville, or at least closeby somewhere in Florida!!!
@Totalanimefan: Yeah, it is, but I think things may be starting to calm down. We'll see how things work out once the dust settles.

@Alorrena: Ooh, going to Idaho from Florida? I've done that several times. May I ask which part of Idaho? I typically fly out of Jacksonville since that's where I live, but I know Orlando tends to be cheaper. One day I'll try that route lol.

At this point, I feel like it's not a matter of if you'll get it, it's when. My household got it in late January, and I'm so thankful this strain isn't as deadly as previous strains.

Wishing you and your family a speedy recovery, especially your little one if she has it! <3
