Pretty lucky in some cultures, I believe. :) Did my puzzle cap for the day.
@Rallaa: I can totally understand that. It depends on the source and what I happen to be doing for me to pay attention or tune it out. Sometimes I use the tv for background noise, and other times I'll watch things, but only if it doesn't require all of my attention. For example, sometimes I don't feel like watching subbed anime because I don't have the energy for it. My fiance listens to various D&D podcasts, and although I don't mind listening to the plots here and there, I find myself getting annoyed by the podcasters' voices a lot of the time. I don't necessarily mean their character voices--I'm talking about out-of-character asides and mannerisms. I know it's hard to separate out/in-character with D&D, but certain mannerisms I just...can't.

I liked The Big Bang Theory starting out, but I really wish they didn't continue the series past a certain point because it got too predictable and some of the characters are just yuck. However, I finally managed to pick back up on the series if ONLY because I don't like leaving things unfinished, so going to continue until I've seen it all.
@Rei Ann: Understandable. I guess I've just learned to tune things out over the years. My son is repetitive in the stuff he watches too, but I don't really mind. It drives my other family nuts, but they just need to learn to tune it out, I think.

@Spider: Oh snap, you have the combat boots? I'll buy those if they're still available? xD
@Rei Ann: lol I've definitely used some movies to calm down my siblings and keep them occupied. Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. were a couple I came to learn every line since they watched those again and again, yet somehow I never tired of those movies?

I don't have much experience raising girls since I just have 1 sister and 3 brothers. Fiance has several nieces and nephews, but they all live across the country, so don't get to see them too often. Family get togethers are always fun when they do happen though.
@Rei Ann: Yep, settling down means sleep lol. He's my only human child so far, but I'm the oldest of 5 children, so I have some experience raising littles. None of my siblings have human babies yet, but hoping I get to be an aunt someday.
@Rallaa: I kinda know some of the newer generations' names, but it's all so overwhelming on top of the newer types that I just don't bother lol.

@Rei Ann: Yep. He's in a good mood at least, so hopefully it won't be long until he settles down.

42!
@Rei Ann: About the same. Trying to post and also entertain rambunctious 5 year-old son. xD

@Rallaa: Good luck! I stopped keeping track of Pokemon after 2nd generation. ^^;

Hmmm, ideas for future orbs...

If we have 7 original items + 5 unique recolored commons, things that come in 7 include:

- 7 Deadly Sins (Sloth, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Pride, Greed)--Would honestly LOVE to see these themes realized in items somehow.
- 7 Colors of the Rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet)--Might be fun to have monochromatic items
- 7 Dwarves (from the tale of Snow White: Sleepy, Grumpy, Doc, Bashful, Dopey, Sneezy, Happy)--Obviously wouldn't recreate the dwarves themselves, but maybe embody the themes into items?
- 7 Continents of the World (and also 7 seas!)--hard to conceptualize though with how many countries there are!
'Eeeey, a raffle! Those are some great prizes!

Hello to all! Anyone doing anything fun this holiday season?
