@Gatorlec: i've yet to see/read it, actually! but i've been meaning to for years. i've heard great things about kathy bates' performance.
my username isn't actually a reference to anything in particular, but it was inspired loosely by ruby gloom. i was looking to see if gloom was available as a username on another small website like this, and it wasn't, so i went with the synonym, misery, and i liked it a lot so it stuck. ^_^

@Wildfire: i'm doing well! i have an hour or so to kill, so i'm gonna try to actually pay closer attentions to my voltra notifs. sorry about getting back to you a little late, i'm working on a puzzle for the event rn. :p

in the shower, i like to ponder important questions, and today i pondered quite possibly the most important question ever:
if all the british celebrities were to get in a fight, who would win?

i don't watch much UK tv but my parents are into it, so i know a little from osmosis mostly. but i thought a good bit about it, and for my money, i'd have to go with graham norton. he's interviewed them all, so he knows all their secrets and battle strategies already.

@ephenay: i know nothing about metroid but i think it's a great name! i hope you and serris are doing well <3

also stupid question, but where does one get an alpaca?

@Kozi: i've heard about jello salads and the like from old 60's cookbooks and i've always thought it was weird. i think that sort of thing happened because refrigerators were becoming more commonplace and now people could suddenly do all sorts of crazy new things. they thought "what could we do with this", but didn't stop to think if they SHOULD do it.

@vengeance: that's one of those two sentence horror stories lol
