@boyrrito: @Glume: thanksgiving is now over, so the christmas season is beginning. i'm sorry i wasn't online on thursday to talk! i was busy with my own family, and i had a really awkward thanksgiving, which is better than a bad one, i suppose. i did a bit of shopping online on black friday, not much, but enough to get started on buying gifts for my loved ones. i agree with you glume that the gift-giving part of the holiday feels superficial. i love the idea of giving to my friends, but having a set time for it makes it feel less natural. christmas songs and movies are going to be playing at all times and i'm not excited at all for that, but it is what it is. cheers to the end of thanksgiving! and good luck for the rest of the holiday season. <3

maybe you have seasonal depression. maybe the holidays give you anxiety. maybe you can't stand spending time with your family. maybe you don't have anyone to spend your holidays with. that's ok! this thread is here so you don't have to go it alone <3

@Totalanimefan: i checked the temperature for right now and it's in the 40's. i've never been to any place colder than the bay area so i wouldn't know, but i guess you're right that the 40's is still cold o3o

i'm about to take a nice warm shower and then get underneath a blanket so the socks will have to wait until tomorrow. (damnit) but i'll be glad to put them on in the morning lol.

@Totalanimefan: personally i like the cold more than the heat, but i can see why you wouldn't like it. one time years ago i made a post along the lines of "it's so cold" and my friend from the east coast chewed me out for complaining about like 40 degree weather when it actually snows over there lol. the way i see it though, you can always layer up and get underneath a blanket when it's cold, but when it's hot you can't take off all your clothes! and even if you did, what if it's STILL hot? there's an exception to that rule for me today bc i've been barefoot all day and my feet are freezing. i haven't done as much laundry as i should so i'm running low on socks and i gotta save em for tomorrow when i leave the house. anyway, idk if i'll be online much during thanksgiving, so i'll wish you a happy one now! hope you get to spend time with people you love

@deaa: i'm doing good! i've been having bad dreams but i'm trying to focus on them less. other than that, i'm just trying to chill and enjoy thanksgiving week even though the idea of being around my family all day tomorrow stresses me out lol. at least i got to make a "wack sh*t our family does" bingo card for me and my siblings :p

i really like the aesthetic of this thread! and it's a rainy night tonight so the mood is absolutely perfect 8)

i'm not sure what i'd pick for the spookiest movie i've ever since, since i'm a horror junkie and trying to remember which movies scared me and how gets hard after you've seen way too many to count. but i can definitely tell you about my favorite horror movies ^_^ i have a little bit of eccentric tastes though, so they probably aren't for everyone :p
