Day 4: You are surprised to see Spark so relaxed right now, and not his typical "hype". Until you
remember that he is used to the spotlight and this simply him focusing.
On the fourth night of Solstice, Panthalassa gave to thee:
Messenger Birds!
For someone who is typically loud and excited, his smooth honey voice was warmly welcomed.
Who knew he'd have so many talents?
[A resignation letter, stored in a file cabinet of an Electric realm military post of the coast. A sticky note on it reads: “The bird didn’t stay so that we could reply, it flew away as soon as the note was retrieved.”]

Now that Crabby as well as Tula have not returned home…I Olivia Gilfeather, as well as Prissy, Kachoo, Limey, Shiva, Minty, Ping, Pong, Big Mouth, Angel, Kia, and Ovu resign from providing the Electric Military any further services. I am not sure if this qualifies as desertion or not-considering my rank and foreign blood- and frankly I don’t give a flying frank anymore.
I’m older now, and I’m much more wise. I appreciate Electric’s assistance in helping my home realm but after migrating and observing how you treat your own citizens, I find myself left skeptical of your lawful integrity in this alliance. I’d like to assert that’s the reason why I’m calling it quits but truth be told, the real reason is because my birds, are all that I have.
I grew up harassed and bullied, called a “bird brain”. Abandoned by my own family who dabbled to much in pleasure of varying questionable ethics. All I had was the birds I befriended outside. There was freedom in homelessness. Peace within myself I had not had the entirety of my childhood. Your enlistment officer noting the talent of my flock gave me such a naive sense of joy and pride...not for myself but for the tearful validation that my flock FOR ONCE weren’t seen as just “stupid birds”. I was naïve, and what I thought would be proving to the world how amazing my feathered family is, has become a sacrifice that I cannot swallow.
Every night I pray for my falcons Tula and Crabby’s return. I believe Tula to be dead and Crabby is out there looking for her. I saw him fly off course and I dread him finding her. I can’t sleep. This was a mistake and I am fixing it now before any more of my family goes missing or is killed! My pigeons weep for their missing falcon brethren more so than I! I am, no WE ARE losing our minds!
You need not be concerned about classified Intel, I never opened a single letter you had my pigeons and falcons deliver. I just feel no need to continue serving a land that arrogantly claims they are the best, they are the most just, the most free yatta yatta, loyalist ignorance. An inside look has opened my eyes and far later than I should have permitted. It was never right for me to enlist my birds not knowing what they would think if they were human. I did not anticipate they would be casualties traveling between home and this realm. The war is full fledged now, my birds are messengers. Not soldiers. Shame on your military for all its false promises and rehearsed lines. I’m still young and there is obviously a lot left to learn, but as for my relationship with you- it’s over. Void.
The blood feather brigade, is no longer handling your letters. Any letters sent to us as of yesterday sit at the roof of our base, go get it yourself. Good luck in your war. Hope this letter didn’t ruffle your tail feathers too much.

Spark stands at a run down stage, clearly unused and not prepared for any sort of event.
He holds a microphone as usual, and bears an enthusiastic expression.
Facing towards a scattered crowd of volties, including Vanora and Vivienne holding up a camera,
he begins to share his ideas.
“Hello my favorite fans! Spark here to give you the—Oh! This is not a surge? Well it’s
expected to get praise on a regular day too, but I’m flattered!” He poses dramatically,
Frizz climbs up the stage and approaches him for a reminder, which she delivers in a
kind and quiet way.
“Brother, did you forget already? You said you’d interview the
others this time…”
Without skipping a beat, as if it was his intention all along Spark continues
with his boasting. “But of course I know why we’re here! Although I, Spark,
am the most interesting figure in our beautiful land of Voltra, I’ve decided to extend my
privileged screen time with the others!”
Frizz sighs, but with him back on track, she jumps off the stage and leaves to continue her own activity.
“That is to say folks, I’ll help you get some juicy answers out there! Just ask our very
interesting citizens your questions and they will answer!” He smiles brightly, but then
frowns. “Unfortunately, my siblings will be preoccupied with their own activities. And I
must hold back for the sake of others.” He sighs, but doesn’t seem the least bit sad.
“I know… As the most interesting subject you’d want to ask me some questions too, but
it’s ok my friends, just wait on for my autobiographic film. I’ve been acting it out for some
time now, all my secrets exposed. I know you’re all dying to see my beauty routine—Oh,
but I shouldn’t give away too much!”
The camera moves towards Vanora, who’s to the side shaking her head. She looks at the
camera with a nervous expression and laughs awkwardly.
“Sorry to say, there’s no film… he just acts it out on his own without cameras last I heard…”
Sparks waves frantically, and the camera switches back to him. “Alright, alright! I can
see we’re getting anxious now! No need for that friend, Spark is here to help you on this
endeavor. So ask away, surely they’ll all be excited to share their life stories with you.
Who wouldn’t be!?” He nods to himself, then his face lights up.
“Ah! And of course, if you’re too shy to ask something, let your friend Spark know.
I will truly make your questions shine!”

Seasons greetings Volties, it’s your boy Spark here reporting in! I gotta say, at first this cold weather really ruffled my tail feathers…but honestly now… I don’t mind it so much! I have successfully acclimated and am enjoying this beautiful diamond dust we call snow! I tried keeping a pet snowball named Chilli (get it? Like chilly, but the hot pepper instead?! Brilliant, I know!) but unfortunately he had other plans! I kept him in the freezer but he still poofed on me! Now he’s gonna miss everyone’s favorite common surge!
Gah! Oh well, can’t be helped I guess.

Hiya! Just wanted to let you guys know that Static and I are officially implementing our store’s first Community Leveling Milestone Items (MIs) soon! Well, how soon depends on you guys of course.
Once we reach 550,000 community posts, an item will unlock in our shop. 
Each existing user when that occurs will receive a free copy. Extra’s and new users can purchase the item within our shop throughout the duration of the three milestones.This item will have two levels of community posting goals to reach before being fully evolved. It’s second stage will unlock when the community reaches 625,000 posts.Then the final form will unlock when we reach 750,000 posts and remain purchasable in our shop for one week after unlocking the final pose. Then switched out with a new Community Leveling MI!That might seem a ways a way, but with our events and upcoming secret projects, we trust that time will zip by. So stay tuned! Back to you Sparky! Phew… Hello there everybody! It is good to see you all well today! That was a close one right? I made a lot of friends, but alas! It turns out they were my non-bird friends all along! It’s good that way in the end, thanks to everyone’s efforts Voltra is safe once again. Whew, being a guardian really is full time work!
How sad though, I heard some really regretful things had to happen. I didn't get to know him, but Smolkie will
forever be in our hearts.
if only we could have lent more help! Also… I never really got to watch the circus performance! Well! If they do return, I’ll be sure to get a first look, and of course share it with all my lovely fans! But at least we can enjoy some after event nostalgia with these hot off the press emojis our beloved Ghost made!

For the first week, moderators will politely inform you if you break a rule that has changed since

Hey all you beautiful Volties! If my voice sounds a bit off today, it's because this Surge is prerecorded. I badly wanted to make this announcement in person, but duty calls!

For this high-octane month of November, we have some musically-inspired beauties, and a not-so symphonic but alluring new rare!

Encore - If you prefer to be up on the stage like me, then consider this saucy number that is sure to draw attention and keep it for a second or even third round of enjoyment!

The circus is in town and boy am I sad that I will not be there! Was able to ask that little oracle guy before I took off what I'd miss out on, though. Nice guy! Hope their carnival's a huge success right now. Bet you're all having lots of fun, aren't you?

The event currency for this circus extravaganza is Tickets and you babes will be earning quite a bit in the event forum per post! Below is a little table I made up for your ease.
Event Forum - 10/11 Tickets per post!
Arcade Forum - 1-2 Ticket(s) per post!
Everywhere else - 2-3 Tickets per post!
This event introduces a new forum layout titled Cirque ad Infinitum which you can change at anytime under Settings and Site Theme... whatever those words mean!

Daily Chance Additions!
Before I left, I got exciting news that my girl Valentina is tinkering with Daily Chance! Now you can snag Limited Edition Event-specific Items like the Friendly Ghost who comes in three delightful colors. I'm told there will be other items released later, too, so be on the lookout!
*Limited Edition Event-specific Daily Chance Items will leave at the end of the event when EIs are removed from shops. Previous Daily Chance Items will return.
