From the Vault offers a chance at previous monthly collectibles.

Let's go over all the details and see what they're offering in the current Vault release.

Happy New Year Volties!

We’re excited to announce some updates and changes coming to Voltra in 2024!

• Crate Item releases have been moved from the 1st of every month to the 15th.
This aligns better with staff’s schedules and also gives us all something to look forward to halfway through the month!

• Rare Crate Items are back! Starting with January's crate, new rares will be rolling out this year!

• Legacy Items are taking a hiatus for the time being but will make an appearance again sometime in the future, so hold on to those blueprints!

• Orbs are coming back! Come check them out this spring season!

• New commons are just around the corner! As well as some new shop updates, including the way 2 color items are added. We'll explain more about this when that update is launched.

• More layering fixes and older item updates. Some of these updates have already been implemented but more are on the way! A few months ago our Lead Item Tech, Ruby, updated the skin tones of the orb items "Quinn" and "Yes, Dark Master" to include our standard 2, 4 and 6 shades for every set. Other older items with one skin tone per color set are on the list for the same update.
If you find any layering or item issues, please post them in Pixel Perfect: Item/Layer Reports.

What is an Event Supporter?

Events are larger projects that are asset and budget heavy for our team and website to produce. To fund and cover commission costs for current and future events we will occasionally be offering limited edition items during and following events. Event Supporters are wonderful Volties who have the ability to help us provide the community with more content through funding.

What are Event Supporter Event Items (ES EIs)?

ES EIs are premium event items that offer unique variations of already released event items or entirely new limited edition items.

What is an Event Supporter Bundle?

A ES Bundle offers additional perks for supporting our event funds and buying in bulk. In addition to the premium event items, you’ll also get an original event bundle.
The bundle contents will change with each event, based on the volume and types of event items.

I am excited to report on the much-anticipated return of Voltra's Runway, the renowned Avatar Contest hosted by the charismatic Velvet. This time, the competition revolves around the theme "POV: Your Favorite Item," allowing participants to showcase their creativity and personal style by incorporating their most beloved item into their avatars.

To take part in Voltra's Runway, aspiring contestants must submit their entries by Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 11:59 pm Voltra Time. After the submission phase concludes, voting will commence on Thursday, July 20, 2023, allowing the Voltra community to weigh in on their favorite avatars. Votes will be accepted until Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 11:59 pm Voltra Time.

The winners of the contest, along with the announcement of the new theme for the next iteration of Voltra's Runway, will be revealed on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Excitement is building among Voltra enthusiasts as they eagerly await the stunning avatars and heartwarming stories that are sure to emerge from this unique contest.

Updates to Crate System

You may notice some changes to the release of our crates this new year and month!

Crate naming format change
Crates are no longer following the naming format of [Month] Crate ‘[YY]. Instead, they will follow the naming format of [Set 1] & [Set 2] Crate ‘[YY].

Update to crate contents
Crates still contain the 2 general sets, but instead of a 15% chance of obtaining a rare set, it is now a chance at obtaining Legacies (further details below).

What are Legacies!?

Legacies are re-released past items which are reimagined with new designs, patterns, and colors!

Original Vs. Unique Legacy Item
Legacies are completely separate sets from their Original set.

Obtaining Unique Legacies and Original Legacy
Legacies can be obtained in a couple ways.

Through the process of opening crates which have a 15% chance of dropping a Legacies Crate. Which when opened, can contain a Legacy Voucher or Legacy Blueprint.
Purchasing the Legacy of your choice straight from OMG Imports

Original Legacies can be obtained by:
Providing the necessary ingredients to complete the blueprint recipe in exchange for the Original set.

What is what?

This is a Legacies Crate:

Unique re-designed crate based on Original Item color scheme and patterns.
It contains either a Voucher or Blueprint; granted randomly.

This is a Legacy Voucher:

Unique design based on Original Item color scheme and patterns.
It contains 1 of each Unique Legacy Set; user can select which one they want.

This is a Legacy Blueprint:

Universal requirement for all Original Legacy recipes.

Recipe requirements
In order to fulfill the requirements to craft an Original Legacy a user needs to possess 1 of the Unique Legacies and a Legacy Blueprint.

Obtaining a Legacy Blueprint
You can obtain a Legacy Blueprint in the following ways:

Purchasing from OMG Imports for 1500 Ohms
Obtaining it by chance from a Legacy Crate (1.5% overall chance).
