I'm sorry for your many losses! That's terrible! I lost my grandmother and two uncles in the past two years. I wasn't able to go to one of my uncle's funerals because of the distance. Gosh, it's still hard to believe he's gone. It was so sudden and unexpected, whereas my grandmother was very old and in poor health, and my other uncle had Parkinson's disease and cancer.

I'm also hoping for a better 2019. Maybe Chump will go to jail. That would make me pretty happy. lol

Nothing special or unique, really. We all meet at my parents' house and open gifts, then eat and watch TV (usually there is a football game on), then we go home. lol

What you're asking isn't possible. Cats love shiny, dangly, tinkling objects and you're literally hanging them all over the fun fern for them. LOL I recommend just replacing your good ornaments and bulbs with cheap plastic stuff and letting them go to town. It's their Christmas, too!

I kind of got panicked, thinking I have time for about 1 more book before the end of the year, and started reading about 13 different books. Eek! At this rate I won't finish a single one of them before the 1st!

Has anyone read Unnatural? It's an erotic comic about anthros, I guess you could say. I don't even like anthros, but it caught my eye because the art is absolutely gorgeous.

Anyway, in the world of the comic, animal-kind may only breed with their own species, and further cannot be in a same-sex relationship. If, say, a rabbit and a cat were to fall in love, they would be outcast and sent to prison.

So the main character is a cute piggy girl who is having vivid fantasies about a wolf man, and she can't get him out of her head but doesn't know where her dreams are coming from. She has a gay friend who is a goat, who wants her to marry his piggy boyfriend, so the government will leave them all alone and they can do what they want in private. She refuses, determined to find out if her dreams mean something.

It's so interesting. I highly recommend it. So far I've only collected 2 volumes but there are at least 2 more. It's supposed to be a small run of maybe 6 issues, but I hope there will be more.

I love Fuller House and I'm enjoying season 4. It's like Full House never ended! As a kid, DJ was probably my favorite. The actress's political views have tainted my like for her character a lot, though, so nowadays Stephanie is my favorite. I'm also kind of in love with her. lol! I'm glad Jodie Sweetin seems to have gotten her life cleaned up. She looks like she often doesn't know what to do with her hands, which is a little offputting, but I still really enjoy her character.

I like Kimmy better now than I did when I was a kid, and her brother Jimmy is adorable. I love the cameo appearances of Jesse, Becky, Danny, and Joey. DJ's and Kimmy's kids are really cute characters, especially the flamboyant Max. Fernando is hilarious and handsome. I like DJ better with Steve than Matt, for old time's sake. =P

It just...feels like coming home, watching this show. Ah, I love it so much!

OMG. I just got Backstreet Boys tickets and the concert's like a year away. LOL!

I'm a Queen fan but I don't want to see the movie because I don't like to cry. lol

I went to see The Notebook in a movie theater and walked out to get a refund after 45 minutes. BLECH.

I'd put his ass out on the street. lol! I'm sorry, but no matter what kind of hard times my friends and relatives fall down on, I will never let them live with me, because this is exactly what happens. They take advantage of you and then play the victim. I've seen it happen too often to other people to ever let that happen to me! My brother let his girlfriend's son move in with them "for a month" and he almost couldn't get rid of the guy. He ate everything in the fridge and never offered a dime. And my brother was too nice to kick him out until money started disappearing from his wallet.

I'm an atheist and I love Christmas. lol It just makes me happy to buy something special for my wife an surprise her. I can understand someone not wanting to celebrate, though. Do what makes you happy. I mean, if participating makes you miserable, and other people make you feel miserable for not participating, just pick the one that makes you the least miserable, I guess.

There's some stress in my family right now because my brother and his wife are going through a thing, and they have a new baby. But she's always been kind of...hm...avoidant? absent? during the holidays, so not seeing her is nothing new. And she's ungrateful when we did see her. She doesn't give anyone gifts and doesn't thank anyone for the ones we give her. lol I don't know what her problem is. I would like to see my new nephew for the holidays but I'm not sure if I will or not.

Other than that, things are pretty great. Except I forgot to buy my aunt something and don't have a clue what to get her.

I mostly make friends through Facebook groups. I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of TV and read a lot of books...so I join groups with people who share my hobby. Therefore we have plenty to talk about. So I just talk with people who have similar opinions on those things, and wind up with friends! I made 3 good ones this year and have become a pen pal (the old fashioned kind) with one of them, even.
