My hair is pretty fine, so it bleaches fairly quick, but I have to be careful not to make it crunchy. It's better if I can encourage the sun to lighten it

I used to overdye my hair dark blue to give it a nice sheen, and because it was way easier than bleaching, but I love the intensity of colors that bleached hair allows. I wish it wasn't so harsh on hair

I'm sorry about your migraine
I haven't been able to sleep well the past week, and its making some of my chronic stuff act up in very not fun ways, which ironically makes it much harder to sleep

Ooh, more hot chocolate
I started watching Avatar....because I hadn't watched more than a few episodes before. Its 15 years old, so I figured if its stood the test of time so far, I really should watch it. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person among all my friends who has not seen the show

Yeah, I've thought the same about a mech. That's why I decided one of the characters from Saint Seiya would be a way to play with making armor, but not having to go as deep into cosplay as some outfits require. Plus I already have a nice green wig from Arda, and I've always loved Shun

Yeah, I haven't kept up with anime recently, and I'm more of a SciFi fan than anything else. Thankfully that tends to open up more gender possibilities, or more ways to play with gender

Yeah, I joined a ship at one time as an Andorian, but the captain never really got his stuff together, and I got tired of waiting, so I kind of put all that stuff away for the time being. I want to go to Dragon Con some year, and meet up with other Andorian cosplayers there
Gender is super annoying when it comes to cosplay, and it's no fun to do a couple cosplay if you're uncomfortable.
I like it when I can be aliens that don't have binary gender, or be androgynous characters. I still want to cosplay Asajj Ventress once she became a bounty hunter

Yeah, it's nicer to be part of a group when cosplaying, imo. I like dressing up but I don't always like attention
I have a Star Trek dress uniform for being Dr. McCoy from the original series, and all the props, and I was supposed to do group cosplay with friends, but they fell through and it was really disappointing, but I don't hang out with those friends anymore. I once dressed up as one of Akane's older sisters for a Ranma 1/2 group cosplay and we won the group category at a contest, so that was fun
