Avocado is a good replacement for salmon in sushi

I have eaten durian. I would again, but I want the malaysian durian that apparently tastes the best

@koneko: durian candy is disgusting. Actual durian tastes better...but I still don't love it

How about durian? I've eaten it, and it tastes fine, but the smell is overpowering

@koneko: thankfully ours is a separate tap, so you don't burn your hand off unless you think it's a tap for filtered water

We have an instant boiling hot water tap, and it's great for tea

I'm drinking matcha. It was hot, but now it's cold...I should probably put more hot water in it

I buy the falafel mix when I don't want to make it from scratch

And I've definitely used cut up veggie sausages in other meals

Agree. I've always liked veggie burgers, but falafel is my fave type of bean based meat-textured food. It's just so savory and tasty, and not that difficult to make yourself

@skettiyeti: I really want to try the beyond burger. Even though I'm not vegan, I like a lot of vegan foods, and sometimes they're safer for me, since I'm very lactose intollerant

Edit: I thought beyond meat was the impossible burger, but I got them mixed up

@skettiyeti: My old roommate gets a tofurky roast for holidays, but I've never eaten it, since I celebrate with my family. I do know that tofurkey sausages are disappointing, imo, but the roast might be fine

Daifuku sounds really tasty right now

@koneko: some vegan deli meats are atrocious. I tend to stick with original roast, but sometimes I feel adventurous and it's kind of hit or miss
