Thankfully, there are lots of cool house plants that you can grow as long as they can be near windows
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago
Oh, I assumed they owned the house and had hired the landscapers. Some landlords are so weird about plants, and want to keep things looking sterile
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago
@koneko: that's really weird that the landscapers just pulled out the flowers

@Tsundererra: I have no idea who broke my plant. Maybe one of our neighbors, maybe someone just wandering in off the street. I was really surprised because the apartments were surrounded by a garden and nobody had hurt the plants there

@koneko: yeah, I was really angry about it. I think they also hurt some of my other plants, but that giant hen&chick plant was something I'd never seen before, and I honestly have never seen it again. The nursery I got it from closed that location, so I'll have to take a trip to one of their other locations sometime

Succulents are plants that store water in their leaves, and a lot of them are pretty small, but some can get really large

Right now I'm fascinated by the ones that look like roses growing out of the ground with no stems

@koneko: I'm gonna propagate some from the ones I have, and some my mom has, but I'm also looking at new ones, too, that stay small

I also love gigantic ones, and I'm still salty that someone destroyed my giant succulent when I had it in the patio outside my apartment years ago.

Lol, they are very deliciously juicy looking plants
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago
Yeah, I have some, but I want some more, especially tiny succulents I can use to landscape for my dolls and miniatures

I'm just looking at succulents and air plants now, because they are so cute

@Tsundererra: Yeah, the other one in the same price range was a DELL and I know that they don't have the greatest customer service, so I went with the LG instead.
Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 4 years ago
@Tsundererra: I didn't get it discounted, but I paid about what I expected to pay. I bought an LG brand because I've used their CD players before and they worked well

Yeah, I don't mind it most of the time, I just decided that it's been a couple years, and I should go ahead and get the dvd drive since I've been thinking about it

Aww, what a cute memory
