@koneko: Windowsill should be enough light. How often do you water them? You don't want to go overboard, but they might need more moisture to grow faster

@Starlight: I need to review my Anki cards as well, but probably wont do that until later this year. Are you learning Spanish for a class, or your own enjoyment?

@koneko: Are you growing them inside? They do tend to like lots of light. You might look up and see if there's a fertilizer or plant food specially for them (I also need to look that up, since I want these to grow faster so I can pot them up). The type of succulent you have might also grow slow. Do you know what kind you have?

The ones I have are grown outdoors right in the soil, and they handle both the wet winter/spring and the drier summer well, but if you want to transition plants to outdoors, you have to go in steps, or choose a warm season so you don't shock them.

Hello, everyone

I went outside to the garden even though its cold and windy, and picked up a bunch of succulent pups ( the baby plants that are on runners and not rooted yet) and then planted them in one of my seed trays. I can't wait to see them grow bigger

That sounds really neat! If you're able to share invite codes, I'm interested.

Is it kind of like AO3, but for keeping info on your OCs?

I guess that's a benefit of spotty internet - forced to practice skills and hobbies

Internet really is important. I had a roommate once who didn't want to pay for internet, and we tried to live with just going to the library to use it, but it was super frustrating and I told her we had to get it again.

I keep thinking tomorrow is Monday, and that I'm already done with the weekend, but tomorrow is Sunday still. It's both annoying, but also sort of relieving every time I remember that I still have more weekend left.

Also, what an adorable kitter!

My cat is napping among my pile of books right now

I can't do lactose at all, so even though I love yogurt, I just stay away from dairy...except butter because it's delicious and I can still eat it

@Tsundererra: I mean, most of my friends are or have been on some kind of assistance, so people are not the problem, it's the institutions that take or don't take insurance that are the problem I've encountered. All the grocery stores take food stamps, even the fancy ones which actually have better deals a lot of the time, if you know how to cook from scratch, and have the time and energy to do it.

I just want everyone to have food, housing, and dignity. <3

Now I'm back to watch some more Rebels

But for happier things, I got some cool stuff in the mail today to make some miniature fairy gardens. That's why I went to the library yesterday to get all those books
