"I think I was jus lucky enough to hit a solid bloodflow."

Desiree was there with Jaden for a couple of weeks before he stepped out to do something or other with his mother. When he returned and called out to her, Desiree immediately told him to get lost, to go away.
Sure, he had no idea what the hell it was that was going on, what could have caused this.
And then it hit his nose.
She was bleeding. Pretty well at that.

"Although I've never really been one to watch much." She added. "Comes with being deaf." She paused a moment, thinking.
"And before you ask, yes I can hear with this headset, but watching TV or whatever never sounds right through them." She told him honestly.
"My laptop, not a problem as I can connect it directly, but for some reason I've never liked listening to something coming out of a speaker, then through the headset."

"And yeah. Just frizz control. My hair gets uncontrollably frizzy without it."

"Ahh, right. What kind of hours do you keep? And if you have to step out for your own reasons, are you all right with leaving me here alone?" She then asked.
"Or would you prefer that if you're not here, I'm not here?"
