Desiree paused, grinning.

"Perfect." She stated as she approached.

"Granted, I might sell or donate it later, but vincent's shown me how easy it is to move the signatures from one item to another." She added before smiling.

"Put some of yours in. If you need a break, here's an option. .... or more practically, if I need you for anything."

Desiree didn't say anything for a moment before looking around.

"Got any ideas for what?" She asked.

"Because... there's a lot in here that could be used." She wasn't the smartest out there, since she realised that there was a good chance of anything working. However, she still wanted to have the point somewhere kind of central... ish? She didn't think it'd be the best idea if it was the table, so something nearby might have to be best.

"That is definitely good to know." Desiree commentedf with a nod.

"Just, as I did outline before, keep in mind that if there's an emergency that I'm needed for, you're calling Jaden instead." She said as a reminder.

"Or Hal." She added. "Since there is a very real possibility I won't hear the phone ring." She paused, thinking about it for a couple of seconds.

"And emails or texts are fine... if not prefered." Was the last thing she said on that topic with a tap on the headset she wore.

Desiree nodded.

"Sounds like this is going to be tedious as all get out, but it does need to be done." She commented after a moment or two, as she got to herfeet and made her way over to a chair that was closer to where they were.

"all right, let's get cracking on signing all this." And so they did. It took quite awhile, something that no one was too surprised about, if anyone was honest. Once all was said and done, she just sighed.

"And now I feel like I developed carpal tunnel." Desiree commented with a laugh as she shook out her wrist, a joking tone to her voice.

"Is there anything else I'm needed for, for the moment? I'd rather not be in the way. If I'm not needed, then I think we'll clear out so that I'm not holing anyone up with things."

Desiree didn't say anything for a moment.

"Excuse me?" She asked.

".... I have no idea what the hell to do with that much money, I admit." She said after a few seconds before shaking her head.

"Right. What is it that will be expected of me, though? I am more than willing to pass it on to someone else that can actually run the joint." She added.

"I'm most certainly not qualified."

"Ah, your brother wasn't either." Rohan told her.

"He only ever stepped in for issues that cropped up, that required owner approval."

".... I... right. Ok. I didn't expect that." Desiree admitted.

"All right, well... where do I sign, then?"

"I'll say." Desiree commented.

"When I saw that everyone around was a hunter, I admit... I was on edge. I may be hunter born myself, but I know that's not always enough to save me. That's not to say anything fromothers." She added.

"Anyway! Wea re here for a reason." She then said. "How about we not linger. I would hate to be the distraction I may very well be from you men doing your important legal things." She added with a light laugh.

"Please, let's have a seat and do as need be. Something tells me, it won't be a quick task, regardless.'

"Legally, McCormick. However, please, just call me Desiree." She said with a soft smile.

"I'm still young." She added with a chuckle.

"Pleasure to meet you." She then said before looking him head to toe.

"..... I have to ask." She started, sighing slightly heavily.

"Are myself and my friend in danger here with all the hunters?"

Desiree was silent before sighing.

"Obviously." She commented as she approached the wall and started to look around.

"What I can recall about Mother, is that she was... ridiculously proud of what she'd managed to accomplish here, since she was from a very much unfortunate family." She continued as she looked around.

"Hey Hal. A later version of the suit you were wearing when we spoke." She said, lightly knocking on the glass around some material.

"... I knew it was one of her designs, but had no idea what it something nearly so well known."

Desiree just sighed, heavily.

"He refuses to let the past stay in the past." She commented, some annoyance to her voice.

"I've tried to help him get over that, but nope. He won't consider it." She added with a shake of her head.

"At least he's alive." That was something she was definitely happy about. It meant that she could properly meet him, for one, but also he was able to he;lp the world as a whole. It was something good, in her opinion.

And apparently, he'd been helping to make this place better to. So that was beneficial to her, if this was all true."[/b]

"Even I could have told you that." Desiree commented.

"I can see it, quite literally." She added before pausinga moment.

"But you're not." She added, looking to Tobias.

"How'd you come to be involved with the company at all when you aren't one?"She asked. Tobias just shrugged.

"My sister works here." He answered. "She got the hunter gene, and I didn't."

Desiree was absolutely silent as she looked between everyone, her eye getting more of a sight on everyone than he likely could.

"...... This..." She started, not entirely sure what it wast aht she was supposed to makeof this.

"Right..." She sighed before appraching the front desk.

"Hello." She greeted.

"My name is Desiree McCormick and I have an appointment with a Mr. Rohan Gerrard." She told the person there.

"Oh! Right. He said forme to direct you and your party up to the head office." The person there stated, typing something onto the PC they were by, before handing Deisree a keycard.

"Scan this at in the elevator in order to be granted access. Doesn't go that high without it." They told her as Desiree accepted the card.

"I will let him know you're on your way up." With that, they headed off to presumably do just that, leaving Desiree a bit stunned.

"I... ok then. Come on." She said to the two she was there with before looking around. They found the lifts quickly and easily enough, before climbing in. She scanned the card,a nd they were off.

Desiree nodded.

"Do you happen to have the coordinates?" She asked, her voice curious.

"As, obviously, I will need those. I don't think I've ever been there before." she added.

"Ah, right. Of course." Tobias said with a light chuckle before passing her a card with the information.

"ready?" She asked after looking it over. Once they agreed, she nodded and wind whipped up around them, causing them to vanish from there, and appear elsewhere.

Desiree waved before holding up a hand.

"Let me grab my headset." She said simply before heading to another room and grabbing said item. As she slid it on her head and made sure that the volume wasn't too bad, she just sighed.

"And yeah, I'm nervous." She added.

"Quite. I don't know if tehre was anything else added for this, something I"m not aware of." She continued as she motioned for if he wanted to go to the den and take a seat.

"Tobias will be here in somewhere around ten." She then said.

"You're a bit earlier than he is."

Desiree nodded.

"That makes sense." She said. "However, I'm a mage. going to have a pretty long life, as a result. Sure, that may mean I see something come from this in the future, but at the same time, talking about lifetimes is kinda of pointless with you and I." She addded with a laugh.

"Beyond that, yes. I will let you know whenever I know anything about Friday more specifically, like times." With that, she gave him a quick hug, before heading off and making her way back home.

She called Tobias once home, and set up the date and time with him - 10am on Friday for there, as that would be 9am in Winnipeg - before emailing Hal the information. She also requested that if he could, stop by briefly before then so that it can bes treamlined for that day. She wanted to just make sure he could get into the suit with no mana blocks of any sort.

[b]"As far as she could tell, Tobias was completely human, not even a mage, just aware of that side of life. Which definitely made things a lot easier for her.

She really didn't want to drive or fly out to Winnipeg when tehre was no need to do that.
