And probably one oif the main reasons why I'm even alive still. We met, by chance, a few years back and it was a quick and fast friendship. She added before pausing.
Oh... and I noticed that you have a camp thing cming up that you were looking for an innocent kid friendly jkind of performance for. Have you found anything yet?

yep. He'll be back though, had to head out for a moment. She signed.
And yes, I know you want to know about the tech. They're specially made for me, and accomodate for my lack of hearing. she continued.
I can hear damned near perfectly with them on.

They were sitting there and just chatting for a bit before Leo decided it was a good idea for him to head out and hit up a bank before they closed. After he left, Desiree returned to straightning things up again, and Dean found her in the worship hall, picking up some things that people dropped from a service earlier in the day. She heard him approach before waving, but not looking over as she continued to sweep and pick stuff up.

"I will." She told him.
\Now that I have th headset, it should be easy as can be. Since I can actually HEAR them again. She added, signing it.
Not everyone knows ASL, and I get it. So having the ability to hear is lovely. With my phone I can at least type for people to read. Instead of confusing people with signing.

"I.... well....." She started before sighing, and nodding.
Deryck stole my wallet. I don't even have ID anymore. I'm lucky he didn't take my phone. She signed.
Which means my account is likely emptied, again.

"P-p-p-p-p-perfect!" She told him with a smile before signing thank you, again.
I really do appreciateit. Thank you so much, for both the work on my phone, and for the repairs on the headset. Followed.

Well, at least the phone isn't completely lost She thought with a light sigh. She knew that there was always the possibility of there being a pretty drastic case of fried data, but she hoped that it wouldn't be the case.
She was also curious as to how Dean would react to finding out that she had a means to actually hear things,

She really had, but didn't know how to approach it. He knew her as being deaf, and wouldn't really have a need to speak, after all.
Right?
However, she couldn't deny that maybe, just maybe, there was some validity to what it was that Leo was suggesting. The headset she had was far better than she ever thought she might be able to have, and it gave her near perfect hearing. However, she still didn't like to speeak.
So... maybe she should bring it up with him.

"I c-c-c-c....... Can.... t-t-tell." She told him, having to take more time to say thatthan she'd ideally have liked.
"B-b-b-big d-difference." She added after another couple seconds.
"Th... th...." She paused, sighed, and just shook her head before signing 'thank you', having given up fighting with her stutter for the moment.

"I... I c-c-can read l-lips." She reminded him, as she often needed to. She accepted the headset and put it on her head, finetuning it. She knocked on the counter a bit, repeatedly, and at different intervals, to adjust the audio.
"K-k-kay." She said simply.
"I th-think I g-g-got 'em. Th-th-thank you." She added after a moment or two, gratitude to her voice, and face.

She led him down to what was more of a common area, and twas empty because of the hour. There was no service at this hour, and there wasn't going to be anything for the rest of the night.
Once there, she made her way over to where her phone was, checking it to find that even after being plugged in for awhile, it was still not doing anything. With a sigh, she unplugged it and passed if over.
