"I..." She started.
"Did not expect that offer." She added after a moment or two.
"He and is love have been inviting me out there fr years. So I know I'm welcome without an isue, I just... Don't want to go q-q-quite that far" She admitted.
"I... I'll c-c-c-consider it. Thank you."

"Easier." She said as he accepted it. It really was, considering the fac that while she could speak better, loads better, since taking the time to train her speaking ability with Dean, she was still not perfect. The night she'd had, as well, could easily make it kick into high drive at any point, and she knew that. So she didn't want to risk it.

"That... I think would actually work." She told him honestly.
"There Is a place in the city he really likes, however you'd have to double one order so he can take the second home."She added with a light laugh.
"And of course I'll pay you back. Just... might be a bit."

"He won't even accept me putting on a free show for the k-k-kids as repaymet. Which really sucks, because that'd be easy." She then said with a sigh, and a shake of her head.
"But what are you thinking?"

"There... there is a reason why I needed my friend to show up, and why he took them." She told him after a moment or two.
"They... he custom made them, specifically for me. They act as a hearing aid, along with everything else." She added after a moment or two.
"Which is why they are nearly necessaryy for me, and why I said that you couldn't buy me another pair. They just wouldn't work for me, literally."

"I.... S-s-sorry... I .. I should have... but... I just..." She started, and he could hear the unease and everything creeping into her voice. However, he was good at reading people, and was reasonably certain that she was just scared of the situation, not so much scared of him.

Once he was gone, she just sighed, heavily.
"Since you inevitably asked, yes. I'm deaf. Born as such." She said, not looking over to him, not wanting to. She couldn't move at the momet. She didn't really know Jaden yet, and was finding herself terrified that he was actually working with her family.
Considering it was literally the next day after meeting him that this happened? Yeah, she wasn't entirely convinced he was a good sort.

"And... Yeah. I think so? Doubt... I doubt R-r-r... R-.." She started before just sighing and hanging her head.
I doubt Rene would have let me leave, otherwise. She signed, having given up with saying names that night. She did it automatically, as it was a reflex for her when she had a hard time speaking. Normally, she hid that she was deaf, and would never have done something of the sort in front of someone new, like Jaden.
As soon as the fact that Jaden was still there clicked, she froze. Almost immediately there was panic on her face.
