"Heh." Sydney chuckled before waving to get his attention. It took a couple minutes for him to notice her and make his way over.

"Hey AJ, I have something that might interest you." she said before revealing the last couple inches of the blade.

"Feel like doing some hunting for the Triad? I will, of cours,e pay you handsomely."

"We will just have to wait and see." was all Sydney said.

"Anyway, I'm out. If you need me, call." She reiterated before stepped back, and into a portal, leaving Jaden alone.

She appeared outside of a large, imposing, building, made her way to the door and was allowed entrance. Once in, she headed down to the sparring arena, knowing who she was looking for was down there. As she stepped in, she saw that her target was currently beating someone elses ass in a match.

"You're too damned good, AJ." She muttered

Sydney didn't say anything, just nodded.

"Fair" She agreed before giving him a quick one armed hug, keeping the dagger away from him.

"I'll see you later, Jaden. Let me know if anything comes up with Desiree, will you?" she asked as she pulled back.

Sydney nodded.

"Jaden, if you need me, call." She said, her voice serious.

"I will help in any way I can to avoid you losin' your mind. And you know that." She added, a hand on his shoulder.

"Just... know that I'm naught but a call away."

sydney just sighed, that one breath heavy.

"If you need or want my help, let me know." She told him.

"For now, though, I'm going to take this, get a start on hunting him out, and get back to what I was doing." She added before giving her son a hug.

"Take care of yourself, hey?"

"Both him and their mother." Sydney commented with a growl.

"They are both infuriatingly good at getting off the grid." There was definite ire to her voice, and face.

"However, with this? They won't be able to hide nearly as well." She added.

"This," She motioned to the dagger, "should be usable to track him."

"Agreed." Sydney said before sighing.

"However, I don't know how careful they Ar ebeing. I may not be able to find them." she said simply, truthfully.

"I'll call in every favour though."

Sydney accepted it, with it being wrapped in the towel.

"I'd rather not touch it, if I'm honest." She said.

"It's a hunter blade, and it will most assuredly react with my mana. I'd very much prefer not to deal with that." She said.

"So I'll take like this, and return the towel later."

"Gimme." Was all Sydney said befor eholding her hand out.

"Because I require that. I can, in theory, I can use it to track him down." She added.

"So yes. Gimme." She repeated/

Sydney, who had trying to clean up some of the blood, just sighed before getting to her feet, as he'd been kneeling on the floor.

"Have at her."She said.

"Let me know what ?I can do to help."

"Certainly seems that way." Sydney agreed after a moment or two, and with a heavy sigh.

"I'm reasonably certain that she will survive, however, we will have to wait and see what Rene says. I'm reasonably certain she will survive, mind." She added.

"Just not sure what Rene is going to want to do with or for her."

"I can get her out of the woods, not a problem there." Sydney assured him.

"However, I also know that if there's more than just stitches needed, I really cannot do much, I'm sure."She added after another second.

"Please, call him. I'm not sure what all it is that is actually needed here, barring the blood flow being stopped, of course."

Sydney didn't say anything for a few seconds before the line when dead. A matter of thirty seconds later, she appeared in the room, a small medkit with her.

"I can stitch what I can, but I'm not the one you should have called." she told him as she stepped up to Desiree and started to take stock of the damage.

"Rene, being an actual medic, would have been better." she added as she started to apply a compress to Desiree face, hoping to get the blood flow to stem. She couldn't even seen the damage with all the blood.

"I..." She started before falling silent. It wasn't easy to tell why, but as he stepped in front of her, he saw it. Her face was bloodied, extremely, and was dripping down. Her hair was a bloodied disaster, she was drastically pale, the blood he knew was coming from her torso wasn't even the half of it.

"I c-can't..." She started, trying to get whatever she wanted to say, out. Sadly, she wasn't able to, as Jaden had needed to move fast to catch her.

She was still alive, just didn't have the strength to stay on her feet now, thanks to the obvious blood loss.
