"I know. I already planned to bring up with him the possibility of turning me later, before I give birth. It would definitely increase my odds of surviving." Desiree told him honestly.

"I... Have no idea what it is that is going to happen at that point, but... We shall ee." She added after a moment or two, sighing heavily.

"That... Is a conversation that he's not going to like. Neither Jaden, Sydney, nor Marcus, will like it, to be honest."

Desiree didn't say anything for a few seconds before laughing.

"All right, that's true. However, at the same time, your relationships san generations. mine and Marcus' don't." She said.

"However, he's a lycan, and I know he'll likely outlive me as it stands."

Desiree just laughed. That was true, ad she knew it.

"Hell yes. I might have to figure out a thank you gift for her too." She commented.

"Also, did you know she's actually younger than I am?" She asked

"He wants to talk to that Fae psych that Lindsay knows." Desiree told Vincent honestly.

"Marcus really does want to move past the ... well... past." She added "Which really does speak for him, and a lot." She paused a moment before chuckling.

"Good. Just... good. He needs to. I don't hold all that against him, not sure why he does."

"I know the kid will, and that's definitely a bonus that they have that Jaden and I didn't really have growing up." Desiree agreed with a nod before pausing, and laughing.

"Yes. Yes he will be. I stopped by there and told him already, and he's insistent on it." She told him.

"Something tells me that even if I didn't want him to be part of my kids life, Jaden, Sydney and Marcus would plot against me in this regard."

"I admit, I am a little wary." Dersiree admitted after a few minutes.

"Because both Jaden and I are hunters, and mages. I'm wary of what it might end up spelling for my kid." She added after a moment or two.

"Which... isn't fun, but we were able to power through it, I'm sure they can too."

"You have no idea, Vincent." Desiree commented with a laugh.

"Everything is looking up, and I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know I can't be on such a good streak forever." she added.

"Something is going to happen at some point, and that's just a fact of life. However, I do have every intention of making sure taht I am prepared for whatever it is that happens." She assured him.

"If only just because I do not know what is to come, and I do not want to fall from the grace I've been given, and that I'm trying to put forth in the media now."

Desire just shook her head.

"That's my secret." She told him honestly, fully aware of how he'd likely know in the future, anyway.

"Just be happy for it. I wanted to treat you guys, as a thnk you for being so awesome to me over the years, and this was the best I could think of." She added.

"I ... hope I chose a decent enough place. I can exchange them for tickets elsewhere though, if you'd prefer. Or you can."

"It just isn't." Desiree told him as she retrieved something from her bag.

"Do you realise how difficult you guys in this house are to shop for?" She asked with a laugh.

"Seriously. I spent easily close to a full 24 hours trying to figure something out. Eeryone else? Easy. You guys here? I ran into wall after wall after wall." She paused before holding the envelope out.

"So while I have no idea if it's even worthwhile, here's an all expenses paid trip for you four." She sighed lightly, here.

"I know you gys could afford it yourself, but honestly? I wanted to do something nice. And this is literally the best I could come up with." She froze here, thinking.

"Oh, right. There's also this." She added as she grabbed a book from within her bag.

"I'm not sure if it'd be better for you or the draydins, but ... you have more of a library. So maybe you'll be interested."

"Thought you might like to know." Desiree commented with a chuckle.

"Jaden's worried about it, of course." She continued.

"And we're looking to move. The suite is fantastic and all, but we'd both prefer a house to raise our child in." She paused here, thinking for a moment.

"If you happen to know of anyone somewhere in Europe that is moving, or has a place for sale, I would love their number. Or for you to give mine to them." She just smirked slkightly here.

"And price is no object, either."

Desiree just chuckled lightly.

"Lovely. You always have some of the best spreads for things like this." She commented, her voice sincere.

"And I wanted to ask you to read my mana." She then said.

"as I knowyou can." She added, knowing that if Jake's reaction was anything to go by, Vincent would likely pick up on it as well. Easily.

"I am not picky." Desiree told him honestly.

"I will drink whatever you decide you want to make." She added after a moment or two.

"As for cookies or whatever for snackage, I am completely game." She added. "Since snacks are tasty, and you tend to have some of the best, anyway."

Desiree made her way through the halls to the entry again. She said farewell to Jake before using her mana to get out of there.

She appeared next to a house before stepping around and to the front door, knocking.

"Wonder if he's home." She muttered as she waited. She could see evidence of the man she sought being home, but if he wasn't, she'd just mana what she brought for him and his family into the house. Wouldn't be the first time she'd done that, after all. However, she learned quick that she wouldn't need to. The door was opened, and she just beamed.

"Hey Vincent." She greeted.

"I'm just stopping by to give you some information, and a gift. Got time for a cup of tea?" She asked, her voice curious.
