Vae didn't say anything before approaching SSabrina.

"This is going to hurt." The dark skinned woman told the shifter.

"All right. Do what is needed." Sabrina said.

"Even if you kill me, I was asking Rene to anyway. So I won't complain."

Vae nodded.

"All right then. Let's get this done then." Was all she said before resting her hands on Sabrina's head, just above her ears, and started to concentrate.

Almost instantly, Rene could see the pain on Sabrina's face, and could tell it was extreme... But she didn't make a sound.

The new woman, Vae, was silent for a moment.

"Oh, I can remove both." She answered honestly. There was something to her voice though.

"However, I won't. Pick one." She then said.

"If I do both, there's a very good chance that I'll remove more than that. I'm jut too damned strong for that kinda thing."

Sabrina didn't say anything for a moment.

"All we can do is wait and see, really." She commented. It wasn't so much that she had no confidence in what it was that Rene had promised., it was more that she had every confidence that the ring could find her, easily.

"Wait and see, what?" a new voice asked from the doorway as another woman walked in.

Sabrina nodded.

"I get it. That's the more alarming one. Although the lock will cause me plenty of problems over time.' She comemnted.

"I... Will be oh so relieved to be free of them, to actually have my own life, have a real relationship, have a night like I was paid for, but... Not have the monetary attachements." She admitted. That was something that she'd never admitted before, since she knew that a there was always a chance of those that were controlling her were finding out. If someone spoke up with that kind of mindset, she knew It didn't go well, at all.

Sabrina sighed lightly, nodding.

"I'm not scared about what anyone here will do." she told him honestly.

"I'm scared of what my handlers will do to me if they find me again." she added.

"They locked my shifting last time I tried to escape, and km reasonably certain that this time will result in my death."

Yuki didn't say anything for a few seconds before nodding.

"Yeah, makes sense." She commented.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go get Vae for you." Was the last thing she said before heading off, leaving the pair of them alone in the room for the moment, and letting the temperature of the area increase a few degrees, as well.

Sabrina didn't sa anything for a few seconds before shrugging.

"If you say so." was all that she said, all that she could say, before they were told to take a seat. The room they were in was huge, and it had a number of seats, and couches.

It was basically a large lounging area, or a den like area.

"Are you hanging around, Dr. Calder?" Yuki asked as Sabrina made her way over to a couch and took a seat.

Sabrina didn't say anything for a moment before Yuki spoke up.

"I'm a ghost. I can confirm this place is haunted. By me, of course." She commented with a chuckle.

"Seriously though, yeah. This place is haunted. But they won't hurt you. The lot of us here made sure of that." She assured the shifter after a couple seconds.

"... All right then." Sabrina commented. "Just... All right. If you say so." It wasn't so much that she didn't believe all of that, more that she didn't know what to believe, or what she wanted to believe.

Yuki nodded.

"Of course. Come on. Kaia's out for a food run at the moment, so it's good you chose Vae." She added as she headed off, expecting them to follow.

When Rene started to follow, Sabrina was quick to fall into step with him, too.

"Thiss place gives me the creeps." She muttered under her breath

Yuki was silent for a moment before looking to Sabrina for a moment. Her gaze was there for possibly longer than Rene would have liked, however it wasn't too concerning. Sabrina just bit her bottom lip slightly before waving.

"Uh... Hi." She greeted. Yuki waved in return before looking back to Rene.

"Vae?" She asked, her voice curious, almost cute.

"Or Kaia?"

"Finland, huh?" She asked as she followed him out of the closet.

"I admit, never been out this way." She added.

"Never had a client round these parts." Followed a few seconds later before the temperature dropped. A Lot.

"Dr. Calder?" A quiet, and rather cute, voice asked from a connected hallway. The woman was very pale, with long white hair, grey eyes, and mous ears ato her head.

"Everything ok?" She then asked, her voice ecurious, and a bit concerned.

She was silent for a moment, checking herself over.

"I..." She started, a hand going up to her collarbone, the branding.

"... It's reacting to the distance." She commented.

"It's weak, but it is reacting a bit." She paused a moment, looking around.

"Where... Where are we, anyway?"

She was silent for a few seconds, not entirely sure what to make of that, but also not really wanting to worry about it. If he said they were going somewhere, then they were. At this point, considering the price he'd paid, she couldn't stop him from doing anything.

"All right." She said before getting to her feet and putting what she'd taken off, back on.

"I'm fine with not, though. I don't really want to get anyone else pulled into the mess that I live."

She just sighed, that breath heavy.

"Do I trust you." She asked before shaking her head.

"You're the only person that I DO trust." She added. "Certainly don't trust my handlers."

"So yes. I do...... why?" She asked, her voice curious, hesitant.

"I know you have Kalin to worry abut. Don't get involved, don't put yourself, or her, at ris,. You know as well as I do that they won't be happy, at all, and will aim for her if they put you anywhere near this."
