"I'm sure you both blend in perfectly now." She added.

"I noticed you don't have your ears hidden, that your usual?" She asked, her voice curious.

"I don't know if I'd say it's racisim. To me, it's more of a speciesm? I dunno. Hal is a completely different species, not race." Casey commented.

"However, both do have their faults. But that's what makes Vincent Human, and Hal blend in." She added with a light shrug.

"regardless, yeah. The whole... Blair and glamours, that caught me by surprise, to be honest."

Casey was silent as Evan said all he did before smiling.

"Good to hear." She said.

"Also, yeah. I know that Hal's a good boss and such. Still can't believe Vincent had an issue with him for awhile." She admitted after a second or two.

"I have somewhere around an hour." Casey answered.

"Hal, the doll that he is, arranged for me to get a ride out to Europe, so he'll likely call you or show up if I'm not in his office in time." She added with a light laugh.

"He's good like that." She added.

"Now, I haven't seen you for awhile... how are you and Blair doing?"

Casey just chuckled lightly.

"Neither did your uncle." She told him.

"Don't worry. I have some money. Enough to hopefully outlast whatever is coming." She told him honestly.

"I will be largely staying in motels and such. Don't worry, I'll be eating, accessing power, and the like. Also have locations for a bunch of places to hide and whatnot."

"I wouldn't complain." Casey answered with a smile.

"I know this is hard, Evan, but this is to keep everyone safe. I'll still be contactable." She added.

"I'm not vanishing completely, I swear."

Casey was silent for a moment, sighing lightly.

"Technically I'm not disappearing. I'm going to be catching a plan across the ocean to Europe." She told him.

"However, I really can't get more specific than that, because I don't know where I'll be going." She added before gently pushing Evan away slightly.

"Let's take a seat." She said. "More comfortable than standing around, no?"

Casey managed to keep her balance and not land on her ass as Evan lunged into her. She wrapped her arms around him and just held fast.

"I'm sorry, Evan." She saidq uietly.

"I just.. I'm sorry. I won't tell you where I'm going, where I'll be for protection." She continued. "I don't want them to come after you. So please, stay here. Get a dorm here for a bit. You're my son, and a necromancer yourself. You're very possibly in just as much danger." He could hear the emotion in her voice, easily.

"Please, just take care of yourself. I have my phone and my tablet on me, so we can stay in contact, but... I have to go." She then said.

"However, I do have a little bit of time. If you want to do anything."

"They do." Casey answered as she stepped up to him.

"C'mere." She said simply.

"I want at least a hug before I go." She continued.

"Because I'm leaving. I'm going nomadic. I'm the strongest necro on this damned planet. I don't want to be anywhere people will be in danger if they target me for something. I may be the ONLY way for them to bridge from here to above."

Casey just sighed.

"Yeah... my mana is stupid strong." She agreed as she stepped in and closed the door behind her.

"And ... no. It's not good nes, at all." She added.

"Tell me, what do you know about what's goingon?" She asked, her voice curious.

Casey nodded.

"and I appreciate it, Az." She said, gratitude more than a little evident in her voice.

"Also, don't worry. I won't fight. I'm not the fighting type. " She added. "You don't need to worry about THAT, at least."

"Which... is probably part of why they snatched her." Casey commented with a shake of her head.

"I don't know what it is that is going on, entirely, but I don't know if I want to know." She admitted after a few seconds.

"But that tip about my mana could save my life." She added. "Thank you. If nothing else, that, at least,s hould help if I need it."

"Hopefully that's a boon for everyone else." Casey commented.

"Because that'd be ideal." She added before pausing a moment, thinking.

"... do you know of anything that could actually HELP anyone they might target?" She asked

Casey returned the embrace.

"Thanks, Az." She said before holding him for a few seconds, pulling back.

"With any luck, I'll be fine." She said. "Exhausted, uninterested, but alive, and overall ok." She added.

"This is... a headache though, let's be real."
