Of course not. From what I know of her, she doesn't like physical contact if she can avoid it because of her ability. Angela responded with a few seconds later.

"Of course." The woman stated.

"I'll recover. I always heal." She then said.

"This, sure as shit, won't be the one time I don't." She added

"What brings you 'round here, Ezekiel?" She then asked, not moving from where she was.

"And for the record, I don't think my mentality can handle any contact at the moment. So stay a good two feet away from me."

She rolled her eyes as she read the text.

Something tells me that I can't turn you away anyway. was all her reply said. She was giving him the permission that she had to, not because she wanted to.

She hurt, a lot. She'd rather die alone than have an angel over her, but she knew he'd likely not really leave her alone anyway.

He was likely there for a reason, after all.

"Nahhh, I'm good. Or will be. I'll get back up to my desk once the world is nicer." Arryn answered with a light chuckle.

"Seriously, I'm good. Get out of here and do wha you ned to." She added.

She was silent as she laid on the couch, a hand over her eyes. She wasn't feeling good, hadn't been since she'd hobbled her ass home a few days ago. She was beaten to hell, reasonably certain she had a couple broken ribs, her arm was all kinds of messed up, but she wasn't going to the hospital. That would likely kill her.

That kind of contact right now would not go well with her current headspace, she was sure. So she wasn't risking it.

As a result, she was laying on her couch, probably looking dead to others for the moment, as she just tried to ignore teh pain that was wracking through her.

"Good. At least there is that, if nothing else." Arryn commented.

"I'm just going to hang out in here for awhile." She then said.

"And try and not be thrown off of the planet. I'm sure you've plenty to do as you've been down and out for a bit."

Arryn was silent for a moment before sighing heavily.

"I wish you knew what kind of level the danger Lunet is in." She stated. "That... shouldn't cause problems."

"However, I can't say for certain, of course. If you want to try, that ... may? help."

"I'll be all right." Arryn assured him.

"I'm good here. Also, there's no need for you to apologise. You couldn't control it." She added after a moment or two.

"I'm just happy you're gonna be good. You're too chill to not be, I think." She added with a light laugh.

"I noticed." Arryn commented.

"That ... was a thing. To truncate it." She added with a light laugh.

"And good on you. I think I'm gonna just stay here for a bit. Let the world stop spinning."

Arryn nodded.

"Fair enough." She commented.

"Good to know, I suppose." She added before sighing.

"I'll telly a this much, I did like the power boost. I'm not super strong in a mana sense, despite being an elf. But that was quite lovely to experience."

"I'll say." She commentedbefore just sitting back on her ass, leaning against thew all she was by.

Arryn was down on all fours, breathing heavily as her body acclimated back to what it natrually should have been at.

"Oh... oh damn." She muttered.

"Receiving it initially was nowhere near as much of a rush as this."

Our Jigsaw doesn't grant volts as it stands. It's used primarily for the special currency during events.
Outside of events, it's just something to do to pass the time.

"I'd say I have another couple weeks, maybe a month, ebfore it drives me to drink. After that, probably be a downhill spiral." Arryn commented.

"I'd ask how you can handle it so well, but then again, it's natural for you. It's not like it's an extra thing, as it is with me." She added with a chuckle.

"You good though?" She asked. "As in, you don't feel anything that'll cause it to be rebounded and your body refuse it or anything?"
