Casey watched Evan gor, not moving for a few seconds before shaking her head and heading into the office. "It was shorter than I would like, but yeah." She answered.
"Best I've had in awhile." She added after a moment.

"I gotta go." She told him.

"I'd appreciate if you did anyway, let me know you're doing all right."

"Never forget that. Even if either of us end up lost to the aether, just... remember that. I love you, you're my baby boy." There was sincerity to her voice, a lot of it too.
"Do you want to walk with me to up to his office?" She asked

"I will make sure that I am safe, and will do everything I can to ensure it." She added.
"I'll email or text you every night or two, if you want. Just so you can make sure you know I'm ok? Or would you prefer a call?"

"Pretty sure she didn't sleep and is completely losing her mind at the moment. Doubt Rowena would take it too well either." She admitted.
"Even I want to just break down. I'm just biting it back because... I can't. If I do, then it would just put a bigger target on my back, and I'm totally not interested in that."

"I worry about you, and yes, I worry about Blair too." She added. "He may as well be my second son." She added before poausing.
"Wait... is it you or him that's older? I can never remember. Whatever, point is. I do worry about you guys down here. At least you work for the government, so I knwo you'll be mostly treated brilliantly."

"We can still meet in that manner, on the astral plane." She told him honestly.
"However, I don't know if the Fallen can reach that plane, so we'd have to be careful. You could ask Gregory or those around here. I ... won't ask Gregory. That'd make me too much of a beacon."

"Seriously, are you all right? I know that this isutation is most definitely not ideal... but are you and Blaire doing all right?"

"Peyton's ridiculously friendly. Even I know that." She added with a light laugh.
"However, just... don't get in between her and Mira. Someone did once, did you know Peyton's got pretty sharp claws?" Casey asked.
"And teeth. She tore into her like nobodies buisiness. Then again, there was.... some forbidden magic at work as well."
