Sure enough, the ringing continued until Kelly's voicemail picked up. When Zeke tried again, he, again didn't get through.

Now, that wasn't instantly alarming, at least not under normal circumstances. However, this was a special case and the fact that she wasn't answering could very well be making his mind wander, and not wander in a good way.

What it was that he needed, was to touch base with Kelly, and find out why she wasn't answering his phone. Before he panicked would be ideal.

Angela nodded.

"Same to you. If I don't reply to the texts, or calls, just... I, or Liv, might not be in good shape." She said, before sighing.

"I hate this. Just stay safe, please." She said, half begging him.

"For now, I need to touch base with Hal."

"You do what you need to. Just... send a text or something every couple hours, lemme know you're still alive." Angela requested.

"Please? It'll do ME good toknow that." She added.

"And I'll go talk to Hal, make sure he's aware of what's going on, and ask if he can help with Liv."

"Good enough for me." Angela commented before setting her coffee down and approaching him. She wrapped her arms around him, and he could tell, easily, that she was concerned for him and his well being, for his family - both her and Liv, but also his parents.

"Let me know if you learn anything good or bad, hey?" She asked as she pulled back a minute or so later.

"And I can defend myself far better than she can." Angela added before shakign her head lightly.

"Now go. Do what you need to. I'm going to go talk to Hal." She said. He could hear the concern in her voice.

"And Zeke, try not to be killed by one of them, hey?"

"Yeah, I know. Chances are that he can't do anything for you, or your dad, or any of those like you and him." Angela said, referring to the celestial and infernal beings.

"However, maybe, just maybe, he can do something about Liv." She added.

"I'll ask him. It's all I can do."

Angela was silent for a moment before sighing.

"Should we ask Hal?" She asked.

"Wish for Liv's safety? If he can even do that. I don't actually know."

Angela was silent for a mometn before just making her way to her desk and leaning against it.

"Should we have Liv stay with your parents?" She asked after a moment or two.

"As in, do you think she would be safer there?"

He wasn't waiting long before the woman in question approached.

"Hey. Was just getting myself some coffee. " She said, motioning to the mug in her hands.

"Come on." She added as she stepped past him, opened the door, and stepped inside. After he followed her, she closed the door.

"What's up?"

"Rest assured, I'll be there if anyone needs me. I do NOT want to have the Fallen win this." Rylie told him.

"Now go, do what you need to." She then said.

"I will most certainly try, and that's the best I can say, unfortunately." Rylie assured him.

"Just lemme know if you learn anything, and I'll do the same for you." She added. "... I'll also go let Sharp know what's going on."

"Although, something tellsme that word is gonna spread pretty quickly."

"If I hear anything regarding Emelie or the Fallen, I'll touch base with ya." Rylie assured him with a nod as she turned to face him.

"Seriously. You don't need to worry about that." She added.

"Keep yourself, Liv and Angela safe." She said. "I'll be trying to keep Em and Vi safe as well."

Rylie froze a moment before sighing.

"... That really does not bode well, at all." She commented.

"And the others of my kind are likely to side with the Fallen if this ends up going to all out war." She added before turning to face Zeke.

"I don't know what all I can do, as I'm really just a corrupted faerie, but I promise. I'll do whatever I can." She told him honestly, sincerely. He could hear the truth to her voice, as well, easily.

"Emelie's missing." Rylie commented with a heavy sigh as she picked up a wrnch.

"However, the fact that you are here to tell me... makes me think that there's a lot more to it than just Emelie being absent." She added.

"So spill. I'm alone in here today. So no one will overhear you. And if Miranda comes back here, I'll just tell her to fuck off, as she knows if she doesn't, I have no qualms with using her name."
