@Dragonfly: the monster manual, the player's handbook, the DM guide... yeah... lots and lots and lots of information in those tomes! There are also card decks for the different classes for spells and abilities that you can buy.

But I love it regardless. And for dinner some bite size chicken nuggets with veggies and rice. Not the most fancy meal but I'm starving right now so idgaf *q*

@Wildfire: We had a good time, we walked to a store and back and I gave her a dollar to spend on a snack. I introduced her to our local thrift shop, which is rather shabby and she was shocked that I bought a stack of books for a $1.
She made silly teen-gutter-brain jokes and we laughed and she relaxed and it really helped her unwind from all this recent change.
We'll be going on more walks even if I'm out of shape a bit. e.e"
