@MoodyB: but you don't have to let past experiences dictate your current existence - your current thoughts, etc. Yes, I realize that this can be a tall order for some people, or at some times, but it is possible to get past it or at least to come to some terms with it so that you're not so limited by it all the time (yes, speaking from experience, unfortunately). And in case you hadn't noticed, I don't mind talking about art ;) <3

@Wildfire: my brain just tells me "do you ever talk about anything else??"
so i know you don't mind which is nice.
but i am just very poor at talking.

@MoodyB: No, you really aren't. But if you keep telling yourself that...

What's your favorite color? Why?

@Blixie: LOL. Cake.

Professional artists are what they make themselves to be.

I thought there was a place to see all your friends on the profile page...? I'm not seeing it if so. Does anyone know where or how we can see everyone on our friends list?

@Wildfire: I try not to, but it sometimes just happens.
Favorite color is yellow.
and as a kid i always liked yellow because it was a super happy color.

@Blixie: yeah. some days im like "yeah im pretty okay." and some im just like "oh...no..." lol.

Professional as in industry or freelance?
I'm working towards freelance business owner with my artwork like selling stickers and prints.
but im so far from it.

I mostly just really need to work on my hands and painting skills.
but im on my second value study which i feel is going better.

@MoodyB: Yellow is a good color :3 It's definitely a happy color! <3

Are you entirely self-taught as an artist?

@Wildfire: Yeah. i really need to incorporate it in my art more often.
I mostly use blue/pink/ or purple lol.

Yes I am. I never took lessons in art as i couldn't really afford to take classes or go to college for art.
So I just started drawing. Tho i first was a pixel artist. I mostly did pixel dolls
and then eventually i started to not like that and hopped into digital drawing.
tho I didn't really fully begin my journey i feel until i got my tablet because it had pen pressure as my first tablet had like 0 pen pressure.

@Blixie: This is true. I have seen some really bad art somehow make really good money! It baffles me, tbh.
I'll take another look at my profile. Thanks.

@MoodyB: Drawing cake could be a very interesting creative exercise!! Do eeeet!! XD

@Wildfire: I have a canvas with the references, so it's definitely happening.
it'll also help me possibly with shapes and perspective too.

and soon...i feel i will finally complete this one study i started back in 2018.
I longed for finishing him. but i got too chicken about it lmao.

I love apple pie. Just something about apple pie is enjoyable.
I don't eat it with vanilla ice cream as some do as i can't eat vanilla much.

Favorite cakes are just about anything with chocolate, strawberries, and/or coffee in it. Favorite pies are pecan, apple, and chocolate creme.

I can't stand dry cake either. Even if you have icing, that doesn't mean it'll fix the dryness.

There's this restaurant that's a bit of a drive away that's inspired by French cuisine, and they have this thing called a Brown Butter Cake. One of the BEST cakes I've ever had, and it's topped with fresh berries and comes with strawberry puree sauce! So yummy!

It really is! All of their cakes that I've tried so far are delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it since it's a small business and everything is made from scratch!

@Wildfire: It's called The French Pantry, located in Jacksonville, of course. They pretty much do only lunch, but you can also buy all kinds of baked goods, including whole loaves of bread!
