They looked good and smelled good while cooking but the taste and texture was disappointing.

I'll have to think of something to do with the squash. Hate to waste it but I don't think I'll be eating it by itself. Maybe if I run it through a blender and add it to soup?

Blah. I'm not too impressed with this squash I got. Very stringy and the flavor is isn't all that great.

I should change my avi again sometime. But I never seem to come up with something I like half the time. I do like my current one though. Will probably keep it awhile

Yes, more plant & flower themed items would be amazing.

I'm really liking the event items so far. Especially the sunflower item. Sunflowers are just such a bright cheerful flower.

All this talk about peanut butter makes me want cookies. Maybe I'll have to make some. Haven't had peanut butter cookies in a long while

My cat keeps meowing at me to go outside. It's starting to get dark out. Don't know why she is so obsessed with being outside. Hazel on the other hand is the complete opposite, tried taking her outside before and she's just like nope, take me back inside XD

I just wish squash didn't take so long to bake.

The weather is pretty nice out tonight. Hard to believe it's almost fall already.

I'm baking some squash for supper. I haven't had it in awhile, and the last time I got groceries there was some nice looking bright orange squash on sale so I picked up two.

Im glad this event is a longer one, should hopefully give me time to get an extra set or two.

I get paid on Thursday so I'll have to try and see if I can find some somewhat decent earphones somewhere before I leave on vacation Friday.

Hopefully the ones I ordered will ship sometime soon.

Well, this is mildly annoying.

Ordered new earphones because mine broke and they were supposed to have come last Friday but they haven't even shipped. They're probably not going to make it here before I go on vacation. It's a five hour trip to where we're going and now I won't be able to listen to music.

My day was alright, just got home from work.

The event items so far are really cute. I'll definitely have to try and get an extra set or two if I can.

Only two more days of work and then I'm off for four days for vacation. Looking forward to it.

I should have been to bed about two hours ago but I couldn't sleep with that darn bat in the house.

Took awhile to catch the darn thing and get it outside.

I'm planning on looking into pest control.

There's no chimney but there is this one odd shaped section of wall where I think an old wood stove may have been at one point. There's a round hole in the wall where a pipe or something was at one point. Absolutely stuffed that up tight with some plastic grocery bags so hopefully they can't get through there. I may tape something over the outside of the wall as well maybe.
