Yes it is exciting when you find such great items. I love the shelf I got today. Finally have a place for some of my knick knacks that were still packed away in boxes.

I freaking love this thrift store in town. Never went in there before this summer but I'll definitely be going more often. Going to slowly find stuff for my house overtime. What I've gotten from there so far is so nice.

Good afternoon everyone. How's everyone's day been going?

My days been good. Got a really nice shelf from the thrift store earlier, was a great price too. Now I'm tidying up around the house and trying to figure out how I want to rearrange some furniture and I'm finding places for the things I've picked up from the thrift store the last few days. And I have to say everything is fitting in so nicely around the house.

My collection of knick knacks is eclectic yet somehow most of it works together.

Those sewing shows they have on public television are sometimes fun to watch.


Man I love that one thrift store here in town. I'm doing some tidying up around my house and finding homes around my house for some of the things I've picked up from the thrift store lately and things are just fitting in so nicely.

My days been great so far. Its really nice out today, just got home from getting a shelf from the thrift store here in town, it's a really nice shelf and it was a really good price. I also bought two pretty silver colored glass Christmas trees that light up. And got some nice iced coffee on the way home

I love thrift store shopping. You just never know what you'll find.

Like the barn wood tray I bought today. It's nice, and I love that it was made locally, and with wood salvaged from an actual barn somewhere.

Now to find the best place to display it.

XD most of the knick knacks I have around my house are from the thrift store. I have a bunch of things up on top of my kitchen cabinets, to keep them out of the cats reach so they can't knock over anything.

I could probably happily spend a whole day looking around in there.

And they had so many jars of old buttons. If it wasn't for the fact I was walking I would have bought a few jars of buttons as well.

I unintentionally started collecting jars of buttons awhile back. Just can't seem to resist them. They're pretty neat to look through

The one thrift store is pretty big. It's in an old roller rink building and its packed to the brim with all kinds of things. Its really neat in there.

They were starting to get some Christmas stuff out in there, I may have to go back and look around again sometime.

My days been good. Was my day off from work. Got bored earlier and went for a walk. Walked through two of the thrift stores around town. Came home with a lovely little haul of items. I got: two nice table cloths, one of those huge blanket scarfs, a scrap of some Christmas fabric, a deck of cards with Christmas themed trivia questions, a lovely fall quilted table runner, an unfinished quilt top, and a barn wood tray/tote that I'm told was locally crafted.

My day was pretty decent. Work went by fast, and I'm off tomorrow. Relaxing at home now and enjoying a bowl of ice cream

My day was good. Just came back from a short walk. Now I'm cooking a few hamburger patties for supper tonight
