@Totalanimefan: I live in the Midwest. It's not unusual to have snow in October here sometimes.

It's slowly starting to get cooler here which makes me sad because winters coming closer and I hate it.

I find winter so depressing. I enjoy the holidays but really hate the cold and snow.

Well. I think we've hit that point with the weather here where it can still be pretty warm during the day bit chilly at night. Just had to shut my window because I was a bit cold.

@Totalanimefan: We don't get seasonal workers.

It's not too bad lately. Just a bit of a hassle trying to find room for things at the moment. Slowly getting things set for fall/winter. But there's still seasonal summer stuff left yet as well.

They've been sending people over to help lately and there's one other person in my department besides me, so it's not too terrible.

@Totalanimefan: We got through most of it, got everything tagged and labeled but didn't quite get everything put away. And there's a few new things that don't have homes yet that we need to find spots for.

And there's only more stuff coming along with our normal freight. Quite a good sized truck this week too. A large chunk of which is stuff in my department. There's an entire pallet of just shoes.

Evening everyone. How is everyone today?

I'm tired. Just got home from work a little bit ago. Busy busy busy today. Feels like they just keep piling in all our winter stuff all at once. Had two pallets today of winter coats and insulated overall and sweatshirts. So much to go through

I've never tried making the melting moments cookies but they're very tasty. They're thinner delicate cookies, neither exactly crispy or soft but kind of in the middle. They're sweet, crumbly somewhat buttery and they pretty much melt in your mouth. One of my favorite cookies around the holidays.

Chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin, and melting moments cookies which are a little bit like a snickerdoodle.

I don't do much baking.

Though one of these days I should really try to gather together family recipes. Especially my great grandmother's cookie recipes.

@Totalanimefan: They're just from a box mix but it is one that comes with actual blueberries instead of the dried artificial ones. Someone was talking about making blueberry muffins the other week and they sounded good. I haven't had blueberry muffins in quite awhile.

Evening everyone. How's everyone's day been?

My day was alright. Work was busy today.

Got home a little while ago. Waiting on the oven to preheat at the moment so I can bake some blueberry muffins.

The last three nights before vacation, no bats, first night home from vacation hecking bat in the house. Must be another hole somewhere I haven't found where it's getting in from. I'm so tired of these hecking bats in this house

I think my cats are somewhat annoyed with me for leaving a few days. They've somewhat ignored me since I got home.
