All this talk of thrift stores is making me want to go walk through one again. Maybe one of my days off from work I'll go browse through one for a little bit

I dont have too many knick knacks, when I got my house a lot of them I was able to place along the tops of my kitchen cabinets, though it's a little hard to see some of them up there. I'd like to find a little China cabinet or hutch someday where I could put my favorite ones where I could see them better

A lot of my knick knacks I have are from the thrift store. I find some neat stuff sometimes, though I dont always buy everything I come across that's neat.

The button jar I bought more for the jar I thought was cute. It was a jar that looked like someone had handpainted these cute little geese and flowers and stuff. I just thought the jar was kind of neat.

Though one jar of buttons I bought more for the jar than the buttons.

So far I've just been kind of accumulating them. I didn't quite realize how many jars I had until I went to put the last one away. I need to find a craft or something I can make with some of them.

I think out of my most recent buys my favorite things I've gotten was the yarn embroidery cat picture and the tiny white and gold Porcelain chicken.

That and the most recent jar of buttons. It was a pretty big jar too. I walked by and saw it basically went buttons! And grabbed the jar XD

Yeah, it is a lot of buttons. I have a shelf in my closet that's just jars of buttons XD

Though some of the buttons I've gotten have been really pretty.

I love going to the thrift store. I pick up a lot of books for cheap from them, and its sometimes fun to just walk around and see what they have.

Though I've unintentionally started collecting old jars of buttons from the thrift store. I need to find a use for a bunch of them. I just can't seem to resist them.

Last count I had 11 jars of buttons.
