You can find some pretty nice dishes for not a whole lot from thrift stores. Pretty much all my plates are from the thrift store.

I should check the thrift store for some plates sometime. Some of mine broke recently

I haven't bought anything from the thrift store in a while but some of the last things I bought before from one of the stores: a nice table cloth, books, a pretty decorative plate, a yarn embroidery cat picture, giant jar of buttons and a tiny white and gold Porcelain chicken.

We do have some nice thrift stores. Especially the biggest one, there's a ton of neat stuff in there, went in there not too long ago, I could spend a day walking around in there, it's in an old roller rink building so it's pretty big. Saw a neat old crazy quilt last time I was in there.

Another thing my town seems to have a lot of is thrift stores. There's like 4 or 5 of them downtown and down by the grocery stores there's another 2 of them. Why the multiples of the same types of stores.

My town has two grocery stores. What we could use is a department store. Seems like every one we've had in the time I've lived here has gone out of business. Can't get everything at the grocery store.

Seriously, another gas station/convenience store? My town, which is not that big, already has 4 and there's a new truck stop being built just outside town and what do they pick to replace the old shopko building? Another gas station.

Yeah, frozen food can still be really good. There's this one brand that does a frozen pad thai that's really good. I dont buy it very often though, it's kind of spendy

I had some crab rangoon for supper. They were good, even if they were just store bought frozen ones. I wish the Chinese restaurant in town did delivery.

I just ate some supper now I think I'm about ready for a nap

Seems to be the year for thistles, and there are mulberry bushes popping up everywhere in my yard this year. Those are so hard to get rid of once they get going. I dont even like mulberries gosh darn it.

I need to try and tackle getting rid of some of the weeds in the yard. They're pretty bad this year. They took over my vegetable garden, at this point I dont know if I'll get most of it back. Its like a miniature jungle at this point

I should pop off for a bit to mow my lawn before it gets dark out. Should maybe trim some branches off some of the shrubs as well.

There is so much yardwork I need to get done before winter. I dont know if I'll even get to it all.

I should find a hangout here to post in but to be honest, other than the people I recognize from mene I kind of feel like I dont have anyone to talk to here.

Though posting in the team cabin thread was kind of nice.
