    Thank you for all the previews, and for the announcement. The items look charming.

    @Totalanimefan: Ohh! It does look pretty good.
    It looks like they ran with the Eggslut success and brought it to the east coast.

    @Another Movie Addict: Ah, I'm envious. The grocery stores close to where I live are Jamaican-Italian-centric, which is a cuisine I'm not entirely familiar with. I grew up with a lot of Korean grocery stores so to struggle to find sprouts or tofu is enough to give me frown lines, hahaha.

    @Razz: I have the De'Longhi Dedica model, which was probably around $250 - $300 when I bought it. It's considered one of the 'mid range' models for espresso machines. Although it seems like an expense at first, I drank enough coffee in college that I probably would have needed a separate loan just for that expense, hahaha.

    It's something you have to kind of evaluate on your own. There are cheaper models and other brands that work great, you just have to comb through youtube and see what people are using. For me, I knew that I would either end up walking up the street to a coffee shop and spend $5+ a day on coffee or I would try to restrain myself and keep the expense lower by making it at home.

    Oh, iced tea is great! Especially in the summer. I will brew a large pot of mint tea (Bigelow has a tea called "Perfectly Mint") and then pour it into a pitcher when it cools and pop it in the refrigerator. Very refreshing mint tea for a summer cooldown treat.

    @Razz: Ahh, I enjoy a french press for brunch with friends. I think it's more the nostalgia and the ease of having a pot of coffee at the ready instead of brewing separately for everyone. It might be a little bit acidic or sour for me to drink regularly, but I do have a mini french press that I have used to foam milk when I'm lazy or want it cold. I bought an espresso machine while I was in school with the idea that I wouldn't buy coffee outside the house. It worked, and I think the machine paid for itself within the first few weeks.

    I also have one of those Vietnamese percolators and my goodness, you wouldn't think it could give you rocket fuel, but it does.

    @koneko: Oh, that's great! Do you happen to recall the brand?
    I think they might make a really lovely gift for my mother, and if you enjoy them, I'm sure she'd get a kick out of them as well.

    @Another Movie Addict: Ahh, I see. I suppose that would be a reason for me to have a bitter taste about it.

    @Totalanimefan: That's such a shame, too. Ah well, I guess if they don't want to run a site then the best way to get rid of people is make it too costly.
    Ahh, I enjoy the idea of jasmine tea, but it gives me a headache so I'm afraid I don't drink it. I tend to steer more toward herbal or floral teas rather than fruit. Although...I don't know what you'd categorize a chai; something with spices? Celestial Seasonings makes this tea called Bengal Spice that is sort of like a chai, but it's also sweet. It has cloves and vanilla, and it's really quite a delight.

    @Razz: Hey, if you have a passion for tea, don't let yourself feel silly for enjoying loose leaf and diffusers. Sometimes it's fun to get into all the different brewing techniques for beverages. I had a room mate who was really into tea and combined with my penchant for purchasing tea sets (despite not really drinking tea), we had an embargo on tea in the house. It was fun, though.

    @koneko: Oh, in a jar? I've never heard of smoked green olives, but I can imagine they'd be pretty delicious!

    @Totalanimefan:
    @Another Movie Addict:
    Ah, so that's what happened with Solia. I don't remember the details of why I stopped going around, but I remember being angry about something enough that I quit. I'm afraid I don't remember much other than I thought the avatars were lovely, but it was very clique-y with the admins and items were getting very expensive.
    All of those things, hahaha.

    Congratulations on the job, too, Miss Sandman.

    I thought most of the flooding damage happened around the city, or places right on the coast. I don't know about the rest of lawn guy land, but it was fine where I was. One day of pretty heavy rain followed by very pleasant weather. At least the grass is greener, hahaha.

    @Totalanimefan: I'm doing well, thank you for asking. How about yourself?

    I didn't know that a/c was such a big thing until I moved down into the states. I was pretty lucky in the apartment that I had while I was in school; it was on a shaded side of the building so it never got too hot inside. Driving my vehicle without a/c, however, could be a real risky game. Some of those 90ยบ days were tough because you couldn't even drive with a window down to get a cool breeze, haha.

    I will usually rely on this Honeywell "cooling" tower fan if it's a particularly tough day, and take a few cold showers to keep my temperature down if I wasn't paying attention.

    Ah, this should be interesting.

    @Totalanimefan: That's a relief that it's an easier class, at least.
    I found my more technical classes to be easier for me when I was in school. The more "muddled" categories were tough for me, but other people understood those subjects so much more easily.

    I think I might have some kind of noodle curry for dinner tonight. I bought a little package of pre-cut pineapple and I thought I'd use that to add some sweetness to it.

    @star2000shadow: Good morning, hahaha.
    Did you stay up late, too?

    @Totalanimefan: Ahh, fundamentals for success in business? That's interesting; part of your program?
    Ahh, how lucky to study for 16 hours and have such a high score! Best of luck in the future!

    I enjoy a good pad thai. I also love some really fat, oiled-up noodles, too. Basically if it'll put you into a coma, it's good.

    @Totalanimefan: Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about the flare-up. I hope you're feeling much better today and you're not having any stomach issues. I didn't realize yesterday was a big exam day--may I know what the exam was for? And best of luck on your future exams!
    I really enjoy Thai food at restaurants, too. There were a ton of Thai and Vietnamese places where I grew up and the rich food was very comforting for the long winters so I crave it when I'm feeling sad or cold.

    @icedchai: Ah, I've never tried the ones from Target. We just buy the large frozen bag from Costco and keep it in the freezer for nights when I don't want to make something completely from scratch. To be honest, though, we eat them often. I'll just crisp them up and chop a patty up to mix in a salad, or slice them into strips and put it over a hot bowl of curry/ramen. The crispy chicken is so convenient and versatile.
