@Anarchist Beauty: Ahh, so that's quite a collection! Do you have a favorite?

He was particularly proud of them, but I couldn't tell you which ones he had. Perhaps there were about four or five.

@Ava: Oh my.
They do say he's supposed to be handsome, along with...Ares, right?

@Ava: That's kind of a funny way to describe yourself. :vanora_xd:
If only I could re-read the Millennium series again by Stieg Larsson. They're where Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is from. I really loved the three books and especially how interestingly the characters were written--especially the protagonist.

I'm in the middle of two books right now, but I don't know when I'll finish them; I seem to be a bit slow these days.
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Dune by Frank Herbert

It looks like the next up will be Swimming Pools (Drank), by Kendrick Lamar.

@Klo Tklarau: It came off a bit lyrical, didn't it?
I think I've read you using that same phrase somewhere else before; is there a particular reason why you feel you don't matter?
@Wildfire: Sort of, yes, hahaha. I could get a job now, but it's kind of like trying to use the trial version of something for a big project; I can do some basic functions, but the essentials of being a lawyer (i.e., giving advice) are off limits until the state gives me the green light.

I'm not entirely sure, but I tend to gravitate more towards transactional things--contracts, corporate law, things that are considered more tedious and unglamorous. I have never had an interest in being in a courtroom, and there's no chance in hell that I'd be caught doing family law; it's so messy!

I enjoy that the Mildliner come in pastel colors instead of the glaringly obnoxious neon hues of a standard highlighter, but that was about as far as it goes. I think that there's perhaps a bit more hype about them because bullet-journal accounts like to have them spread around their desk for photos. That being said, they can still be very nice.

Lately, I have been using the Tombow Dual Brush pens, and my actual writing pen differs a little bit but my favorites lately have been:
Pilot Hi-Tec-C Maica Gel Pen (0.3 mm)
Pentel EnerGel-X Gel Pen (Needle Point, 0.3 mm)

I found that I prefer a needle-point, and for the pen to be retractable, although I have a couple with caps that are also quite nice. I have small handwriting, so pens above a 0.5 mm tend to make my writing a bit messy.

Ohh, your work is very interesting to look at!
@Wildfire: Thankfully I finished school a few months ago, and then took the bar at the end of July. The exams are just to be certified with the state, and then [ideally] you would work with a firm in a discipline you were interested in.
@Koah: Thank you, that's very sweet of you. I like yours, too; it's very regal and mysterious!
I'm sorry to hear you were having some difficulty with your house mates, but it's good that you're realizing you can't be a sound board for their woes all the time. Some people feel like they can't turn someone down when they want to vent, but the edge of that is that it can be a burden to them as well.

@Wildfire: Ah, I see. The exam is part of a larger process of becoming an attorney in the state.

Oof, that's an awful combination.

I played it a bit yesterday after mentioning it and it's still about the same, hahaha.

I hope you're doing well today.
