"Why?" Arryn asked.

"I just... want to know why." She added. "Why were you stalking me?" Her voice was nothing more than inquisitive, curious. She just wanted to know what was going on, not so much wanting to do anything about it.

Unless he was a threat, of course.

Arryn was silent for a moment.

"C'mere." She said, her voice kind, inviting.

"Please?" She asked Virgil.

"I just want to talk to you."

Arryn paused a moment before looking over to him.

"Oh! .... " She started, cheerily, before pausing.

".... Hello." She added.

"Have a seat, and I'll let Sharp know you're here." she added with a smile, before addressing her computer, typing and sending a message.

"Come on Virgil." Anya said before heading through the door.

"I'll be back down in a minute. Or five." She told Jake before heading off with the incubus. It didn't take long before they reached a door.

"All right. Through here is the receptionist who screens everyone coming in. She'll let you through to talk to Sharp." She added. "I'm going to bail." She paused a moment.

"Go and wow 'em." She added with a light laugh.

"Oh, no. " Anya told him with a laugh.

"I don't work here. I'm an arachnologist and I work elsewhere." She added/.

"Jake, however, does." She finished with as they stepped into the door.

"Hey Babe." She greeted the guard as they stepped inside.

"Any chance you wanna let us through? I'll get him up to Sharp."

"Hey, if you get a job, then you'll be doing it on your own merit." Anya commented honestly.

"Because, really? I'm just opening the door. You stepping through is entirely on you."

"Oh, and heads up. You'll find a little bit of everything in there, as well." She added.

Anya just laughed.

"Let's go then." She said simply before waving to the bartender and heading through the bar, Virgil following.

"Just, heads up. I know you'll be able to ID who he is." She started as they got outside and continued walking, "Being a demon, of course you can. Anyway, don't... don't spread it, that's all. He likes to keep what he is quiet, and understandably so."

Not a problem. We'll be there within half an hour. Anya sent before smirking.

"Virgil, stop scaring Jas, will ya?" She asked.

"anyway, down your drink. You've got an interveiw in 20." She added

You think he's open for a quick interview? Someone from my past needs a change of pace for his life, and I think he'd be a brilliantly effective interrogator. The man's damn good at getting information. She replied with.

If not, then I can easily just give him Sharp's number to set it up himself. Followed a few seconds later. She didn't know if Sharp would be willing to hear him out, but she was curious.

For that matter, she also didn't know if he'd even be interested in working there, but at least it'd be an option, if nothing else.

Anya just laughed.

"Virgil, you are amazing at getting information." She commented.

"I think I know where I can get you a job, as they need more people who can do just that, exactly." She added as she pulled her phone out of her pocket and sent a text to her love.

Yo. Sharp still in?

"Oh?" Anya aksed.

"Do you want me to talk to her?" She asked. "You know I can whip her into shape if need be." she paused a moment, thinking about that.

"... I would have to be careful though, she is a decent bit on the older side."

The woman, Anya, just shrugged.

"I stop by here on the regular if I'm being honest." She commented.

"You may be a single horndog still, but I have at least found a partner. He works near here, so when I stop by to have dinner with him or something, I usually stop by here afterwards." She paused a moment before shrugging.

"And getting harder to lay low? Howso?'

He was there with the woman being a little too friendly with him for about twenty minutes before he noticed she stopped.

"How about you just leave him alone? He's not interested." A new voice said to her. After she'd left, the newcomer looked to Virgil and sighed.

"Been awhile since I've seen you. Still causing trouble it seems."

Arryn just laughed.

"It's what you pay me for." She commented with a smirk.

"anyway, I'll leave you to it." She added before heading out to the desk that she was expected to be at.
