Vicki was silent for a moment, pausing to think about it.

"... she's by a petrified waterfall." She answered.

"There are so few in the world, under five, so... that should be easy enough to figure out, I hope?"

"Yeah, thank you Lindsay. I definitely appreciate you hangingaround, just in case." Rowena said as Vicki motioned for Mikhail to follow.

She stepped outside with him, before sighing.

"You ... might not take me seriously with this." She said after he'd caught up with her.

"I just want to give you some information you might ... hopefully... take well. Your sister is alive." She told him honestly.

"I know you've been looking for her... but she's alive. I ... think I might know where, as well." She paused. "Or rather, I know what's around her, even if I don't actually know WHERE that is."

"We'll make sure someone is always home." Rowena assured him.

"Hey... can I talk to you for a sec?" Vicki asked abruptly.

"In private." She added as she got to her feet.

"Please?"

"So long as you can help keep my daughter sane." Rowena said with a sigh before shaking her head.

"Also, really?" She asked. "I know it's accurate and all, but really? You had to go with that theme, huh?"

"It fit, I admit."

"Yup. Fyrane's are prone to them." Vicki answered with a wave.

"Hi. I'm Vicki." She added.

"Heard you were here to help Alice. Thanks." She continued. "I think I was the only person she'd actually ... let be anywhere near her, and I use that explanation VERY looseley."

Alice was silent for a moment, not moving.

"... is that what it is?" She asked, her voice curious.

"can't tell. Everything is a blur, a mess, and a migraine." She added after a moment or two.

He was met with silence for a few seconds before his cell chimed.

You should be able to get through. Alice replied as Rowena made her way back to the others.

".... here's hoping he can help. Or at least start to. I don't expect this to be a massive difference." The Fyrane said to the others as she took a seat on the couch.

"Yep. Teacher tried to kill her." Rowena answered, fguring honesty was best here.

"I'm not going up there, as I know I'll probably be more of a detriment, but up the stairs, follow the hall, turn the corner, and it's the last down on the right." She told him honestly.

"The mana would likely direct you there, I admit, but ... well, at least now you know."

Rowena shook her head.

"Nope. However, pretty sure I know what this is about." She said as she got to her feet. She stretched before making her way to the door, forgetting her hat on the couch.

She opened the door and stepped aside, basically giving them entry.

"I'm going to hazard a guess, you're here for my empath daughter, Alice." She greeted.

"Come on in."

..... Thank you. was all alice responded with. She knew that there was information that she had to deal with, and knew that those out there would likely be worried about her, but at least there wasn't anything particularly wrong with her. She wasn't going to deny that she'd been scared about that, but she couldn't handle being anywhere near anyone else. At least this way, she could learn about it, study it, practice shit.

All it would take, is some time.

And that was good enough for her.

Sure enough, she sent a text to one of the numbers that was listed as a mobile.

Hey.... My Mom got your number from Hal Sharp... I'm apparently a blossoming empath, and I can't deal with. Are you willing to, or able to, help?

Lindsay didn't receive an answer after he slid the paper under the door.

Alice did, meanwhile, go grab it, and look. As she saw the numbers, she was silent for a moment before texting him.

..... what are these numbers for?

"You're also far more level." Rowena commented.

"Which is likely the biggest part of it, if I'm being honest." She added.

"But thanks, Lindsay. If it wasn't you, I'd get Vicki to, I think. They seem to still have steady contact."

Rowena nodded.

"Yeah." She said simply.

"Some people to call. I'm taking them up to Alice." she said before pausing a moment.

"Actually.... one of you two can. I'm usually not the best person to be around an empath."

"It should definitely be better now." Rowena commented.

"Now I'm going to go 3 hours into the future again. See ya."With that, she waved, and headed off, making her way through the building again. It wasn't difficult, as she'd been there enough over the years, and out.

She appeared in a flash of fire in the den, to find the two males sifting through books.

"You two can stop." She stated simply.
