"And that is?" Hal asked, his voice curious.
"Yuki-Onna." She answered honestly. "Or Snow-Woman as most people around here tend to prefer."
"Current residence is the theatre you saved us from. Age is .... I'm not sure it's possible for one such as myself to HAVE an age, and I have an American citizenship despite being from Japan. Also French, but that I think may only be applicable while in Europe."

"Yeah, of course." She said.
"I'll leave you two, to speak for the moment." She added. "Go out and grab some food to keep in here and whatnot."
"Yeah... thanks Kaia." Yuki said after a moment or two.
"Hey, no problem. You two chat. I'm going to go drop this stuff off in one of the rooms and head out." Kaia said before giving Yuki a hug and heading off to do just that.

"I don't have any issues with going outside." She added after a moment as Yuki just sat down on the couch.
"Yuki here, meanwhile, has never BEEN outside. AT least not since back in Japan." She added.
"Yeah... I really haven't."

And I mean a full fledged I literally cannot function, style. It was caused by a fucking cockatiel that was squaking RIGHT IN MY EAR for like forty five minutes while I was trying to watch a movie.
Ohhh that was torture. lol.
Also, sparkley.... that's a thing?
Oh geez. I get that sporadically sometimes, but never connected THAT with anything.
the 'aura' for me is more ... my vision vibrates for a second or two. Which makes inking a pain.
Oh, and you have got to love headaches that won't go away. Like omg.

"All right, we're back, and good to go." Kaia said as they approached.
"Where... where WILL we be going...?" Yuki then asked after a moment or two.
"San Diego." was Kaia's answer. "we'll be int he dorm rooms there."
"... Is... Are they blocked off...? I mean... Windows and whatnot aren't a thing, right?" Yuki asked, and there was legit concern and fear to her voice.

Turns out, the reason for it all is Ocular Migraines which is 100000000000% NOT what I expected to be told.
I know it doesn't really matter to anyone here, but I wanted to just say it somewhere.

"dammit." She muttered as she led Hal down the corridor to an open door. As they entered, they saw Yuki in the middle of the room, holding something.
"Kaia.... James is gone." She said quietly.
"I just... I went.... I turned to grab my phone... and... and he's..." She started as Kaia just made her way over, wrapping her arms around Yuki.
"I know... I know. We need to get out of here, Yuki."

"Thanks." She said.
"Just... seriously. Thank you." She added, her voice quiet, sincere.
"I don't know if the others are dead, but ... I really don't want to lose the last two. We're a family, and it's definitely not nice to have your family torn from you." She added after a second or two.

"I do, yeah. I have family. Yuki? Her father is one that went missing, she has no family, given what she is." She continued.
"And I'm not sure about James. I don't think he has anywhere, either, as he lost his family when hunters attacked a few decades back." She added.
"We could hit up a hotel or motel.... but they all let in far too much natural sunlight. Yuki wouldn't survive."

"I'm worried about who will be next, if I'm being honest." She added as she just looked around the large auditorium.
"This place should be full tonight. We had a number of shows planned, scheduled, and now we've had to refund 4 sold out shows. Suffice to say, it sucks. I want this to be over with already."
