"And I do hope that she can learn to turn it on or off. That's a pretty advance skill though, as far as I know."

"Nope." ashleigh agreed with a nod.

"I'm a lovely surprise." She added, a bit of a smirk to her voice.

"Plus, most people don't realise I can swap between aerial and grounded. Most people assume I'm aerial only, so if they take out my wings... they think that they got me. I love surprising them." She admitted.

".... don't like the constant wing damage though, I admit."

"I'd offer to help, but I know that I'm not really one that is good to start with." She added.

"considering the fact that I'll make her brilliant with aerial enemies, but that does no good for most that would be coming after her."

Ashleigh just laughed.

"Good. Don't baby her." She said.

"Just, for now at least, keep your emotions in check, obviously. Don't... don't push her over the edge in that regard already." She added before pausing.

"And yeah... I know what you mean. I've seen it. When we did dinner here shortly after we found out... well, I saw how everyone was acting... weird... around here. I've heard regarding at school too, since I know that Evan and Sammy go to their school, being on a year behind." She added.

"Evan's come to bitch to me about it a couple of times."

Ashleigh was silent for a moment before sighing.

"Oh geez. Rocky coming knocking is going to be a scary sight, I'ms ure." She said.

"I'm going to claim ignorance on that front." She added with a laugh.

"But fair enough. Going a bit light on her though, I see. Any specific reason why?"

"Planning out Addison's training?" Ashleigh asked as she sat on the bed.

"Or is it perhaps for Lucas?" She asked, her voice curious.

"because you don't go that light unless you're scared of repercussions."

No sweat dad. I get that it happens. Alice reposnded after a few seconds.

Just keep it in mind, that's all I ask. she added.

Also, ow. I'm likely going to hide in my room all night because I hurt. a lot.

so long as you don't give him a hard time. I went to him, asked for this. Alice commented as she grabbed a drink from the fridge, her plate, and then headed out to the den to sit on the couch.

Because this is his fault, physically, but he's not really to blame! She 'called' out to him.

Also, thank you for not suffocating me. I definitely appreciate it.

Alice had to brace herself on the counter she was by as she felt everything coming from Vincent. It took quite a bit of effort to not cry out in surprise, and she was grateful he was holding back as bes the could. She'd likely crumble under it otherwise.

"Dad... chill." she said after a few seconds.

You're going to suffocate me. She added after a second or two.

And I hurt because I asked him to. I'm getting him to teach me how to fight.

That would be because I am. Alice answered as she grabbed a plate and made her wya to the pizza.

Ash really wailed on me. She added, without considering how he didn't know where she was, and as she was grabbing a couple pieces of the pizza.

Caught me by surprised. Still have a headache from it.

About the time that pizza was arriving, Alice made her way downstairs. She kept her distance from everyone, before waving to Vincent.

You had perfect timing. I was just climbing out. She told him mentally, knowing he was telepathic.

Really can't beat that.

"Also, get out of my room!" Alice called, her voice a little annoyed.

"Seriously. If you had checked the mana, you'd realise it was me." She muttered, knowing he wouldn't get that one.

She just sank into the water, relaxing again, knowing that she just needed to chill. However, she used her mana while in there, heating the water again.

"Sounds good." Alice said.

"Thanks, Ash." She added before waving, and vanishing from where she was in a burst of flames.

She appeared back home and made her way up to the bathroom that was between her and Vicki's rooms. Once seeing no one was in there, she most certainly locked both doors, got the water running, and just gor comfy in the water once she could. She planned to be in there for awhile.

Alice nodded.

"Makes sense." She agreed with a nod.

"For now, we will focus on fighting with you." She then said. "And along with that, you'll learn just how quick a study I am." She added with a light laugh.
