"I don't think I've ever asked." On one hand, she was hoping a distraction could help, but also if he COULD, she was curious if there was any sort of change to his.

"I'm home at least. I have The next couple of days off." She added.
"If you don't want to be alone." As she spoke, she was reaching for her phone to send a text to Angela, as a call might not be so good. The woman was likely asleep, after all.

"Do you want me to give Angela a heads up? I know you're due there in a few hours for an early shift." She paused a moment,t hinking about the time and whatnot. "yeah, a few hours. Like... 4 hours from now."
"I can call her and tell her that you can't make it, due to mental turmoil, or something?"

When she turned her attention to the TV for a moment, she just sighed, stepped up to him, and grabbed the remote before turning the television off. "That can't have been helping." She commented as she sat down next to him.
"Nate... what's going on?" She asked.
"Why couldn't you sleep?"

| ᴘʟᴇᴀꜱᴇ ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ꜱᴜʀᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏꜱ ᴘɪɴɢ ᴍᴇ!Raising his hand did absolutely nothing. That wasn't surprising though, as they'd beaten him pretty badly. Hi could barely even see straight for the moment, after all, and with the shattered glasses on the pavement near him, he certainly couldn't see clearly. Before he could really do anything more, or even say anything more though, they opened the box. Immediately, he felt himself overcome with a wave of hopelessness, despondence. The box had been opened, and it would cause problems.

She was silent as she made her way into the house, having finished a particularly late shift. When she stepped in to find the lights on though, she paused.
"Eh?" She wondered, closing the door behind her and kicking her shoes off.
"Nate!?" She called out, making her way deeper into the house they had together, puzzling over what it was that was going on. Nate should have been asleep, she thought.
