"Huh?" Anya asked before shrugging.

"Yeah. Most demons start out as an angel." She told him honestly as they climbed into the car.

"I'm not exception." She added.

"I used to have some Fallen contacts, but with all this shit going on with them, I lost 'em. They bailed o me in favour for whatever I going on. Although I think it's because of Who seems to be the one to take the lead."

Anya just shrugged.

"The Fallen have a mental connection, kinda like a group chat, I suppose." She told him as she made her way over to the car

"Sadly, seems once you're no longer a Fallen, you don't lose that." She added. "Listening to them is driving me mad, I swear."

Anya nodded.

"Pretty much." She agreed.

"I'm not going to give up, but ... honestly? It'll just be nice to have an hour where my brain isn't consumed by that, and what I know they are doing. No one expects to have a mental connection with those you used to swing with years after the fact. Fuck, generations." She added with a shake of her head.

"Anyway, I've got my car. Pick a place, let's get food. Or sex. Your choice."

Anya didn't say anything before heading out the door with him.

"All we can do, is enjoy what time we happen to have left." She commented.

"Sadly, none of my contacts have had any sort of useful information." She added.

"Seriously, Jake. Stop." She added.

"Don't worry about what may or may not come. If you do, then you'll just spend your potential last moments fretting over something that you really have no control over."

"Yeah, it's .... Kind of surreal." She agreed.

"I'm reasonably certain that even my own home will cease to exist upon the completion of the Fallen's plans." She told him.

"I've been trying to figure out what I can do to help, but sadly, I'm not really turning muh, if anything, up."

"It's less that I don't have confidence, and more that I know how crafty Fallen can be. She commented.

"And I've heard whispering that there is a fucking Archangel leading the herd. So yeah. No. This isn't going to be easy to overcome. It's possible, definitely, but just in case, let's enjoy the day. She then said after a moment or two.

"Beats me." She commented.

"Could just go home and enjoy your lunch hour, if you wanted."[b] She added.

"I refuse to go down. Not now that I actually have someone who cares in a way that I never imagined was possible." Erica admitted.

"I have work to do. I won't let myself die from it though." She told him honestly.

She sighed as she stepped into the entrance and up to the desk.

"Yo. You good for lunch?" She asked with a smirk.

Erica nodded.

"Yeah... yeah I can try." She said. "I can't promise that I can find anyone who wants to possibly risk their lives, but I can try."

"For now, I'm going to go and try to get people in volved." She said, pausing a moment before getting to her feet. She was still a touch unsteady, but it wasn't anything too extreme. She was able to get up, and stay up, without much difficulty.

Erica nodded.

"I... yeah. At least there's that." She said after a moment.

"I have no idea who to send though." She added. "The best I can come up with, is see if any of the demons want to go."

Erica was silent for a few seconds, listening to all that Hal said.

"At least, if nothing else, we have a location." She said after a couple of moments.

"The question now, is what is going to be done with this information? I mean, I get that it'll be used to help find Kelly and the Fallen and all that, but... I mean, more specifically. If you have any ideas, because I'd love to help if I can."

Erica didn't say anything, just stayed where she was, waiting for her head to stop spinning violently.

"... a trash bin might be nice, in case I lose my lunch." She commented.

"I fear putting anything else down at the moment would just bring it all up."
