I figured that's what it must be like. I did love those 100 yen stores though. <3 Much better than American dollar stores.

They probably had one while I was there, not sure. I unfortunately didn't pay a huge amount of attention to store names and such when I was there.

Thanks xvz! Yeah I feel like I hardly use the Hanami, but I absolutely adore the shade of purple it has, so had to use it.

It's okay to laugh because I totes laugh about it too. xD
I was in Okinawa for 6 years. Would have been there a year more if I hadn't needed to come back to the States for my dying grandmother. I miss it sometimes and would like to go back someday for a visit, even though I know a lot has changed.
You know the most disposable shoes? Those foamy flip flops they give you at nail salons after you get a pedicure. xDDD

I'm too nervous to ask for donations as well, so I normally don't. xD
If I could though, I'd totes buy a ton of the regular bases. Maybe not all of them, but I'm such a sucker for non-human skin tones lol. The bases are expensive though...

Oh yeah, she was cool about the loss. xD I think they were like dollar store flip-flops, but still!
The wading part was an accident on my part. We were walking along a creek and I was trying to get around a bush to get to the other side. Misjudged the edge of solid ground and there I sank. There was literally no other way around, else I'd have tried that route.

I've been knee-deep in mud before...in flip-flops...one of which I lost (was my best friend's at the time) and I still feel horrible about that years later lol.

Also, this site's devs are something else. <3 I'm continuously amazed by the events that are brought here, both in creativity and in types of activities (for lack of a better way of putting the coding execution). Thank you guys!!!
