If I were to hazard a guess.... it's most likely that they hadn't taken the thread seriously.
People post something like that for attention these days, and it sucks
So it's very possible that they had moved it because it's not something that ... well... is often believed to be serious/true.

After they resold the golden halo for 1k real dollars each, fire everyone who was working on zOmg and were surprised bugs didn't get fixed and started to send PM's with announcements about item sales, nothing really surprises me anymore when it comes to gaia.

I decided to be nostalgic and look into Gaia but pass. Huge pass.

Like disputes between members and lots of messy stuffs.
Plus when I tried to make an account there it didn't work out...like at all.
An Allkpop staff member offered to help me but that didn't end up working because...messiness.

I just use some very niche subreddits, and generally I only hear bad things about it coming from 4chan, so that doesn't say much.

All I know about kpop fans is that some of them can be super crazy. So yeah, I can imagine putting a bunch of them together would start some fights. lol

Firstly, I hope you're able to find some advice elsewhere. But secondly, yeah, Gaia doesn't shock me anymore either.
As others have pointed out, it was probably because some people do discuss that out of attention - sad but true. Still that's super inappropriate for them to have moved it. :/
