@0v7: Yes, I don't mind paying that much for a tablet if I'm actually using it all the time, but I have spent $$$ on tablets before to just have them end up sitting off to the side somewhere collecting dust. Thanks again for the suggestions - I have yet to look at the specs for either, but I'll probably order one of them as soon as I do.
As far as artwork for you goes, I'm happy doing an avatar - it can be this one or a different one. It's entirely your choice. I am tending to do headshots/busts these days, if that helps you decide. :3

@Koah: Here's the 2 I recommended to Wildfire: [Link 1] • [Link 2]. Both are pretty affordable! I've used both in the past IIRC... though the current one I use is the Huion GT-191 v1 which was a whopping $400 when I purchased it @_@

Huion is such a good brand - I've had 3, 4?? of their tablets by now. I had one Wacom tablet and it was.. $80 for something that was small. >_>
