here's my CONTROVERSIAL TAKE on why I don't buy the whole 'farenheit more accurate to humans' thing because thats every Americans defense when I make fun of it (this is all jokes by the way you can use whatever ding dang system you want it doesnt hurt me this is why we have google HAHA)

I've never in my life needed an accurate reading??? I LIKE that celsius is like, YEAH you can tell the different between 20C and 23C or whatever. it's quick, it's clean, it lets me know what to expect off the bat. all this sliding scale nonsense with F is like, too much. I dont need it. just sum up how hot or cold it is and lemme move on, I got bigger stuff to worry about-

Omg when textbooks do things like "this animal is the size of two whole football fields" I would get mad as a kid. I cared nothing about football. Technically that good be one measurement or another. Is the end zone counted? And why can't we compare it to ANYTHING besides sports. I'm sick of sports being how to be anybody

@xvz: I don't usually eat a lot of bread, but my guys will use crackers or make garlic bread or something if they want it or feel like they need a little more ooomph. I have been making more soups more recently. They're good.

Directions for that soup - sautee the onions and garlic and brown the meat (I've used all kinds of meat with this) and chop your root veggie (rutabega, turnip, sweet potato, whatever). The real directions say to take out the meat and onions once they're browned but I usually just leave it in the pot. Add broth or water and your root veggie and simmer until soft. Clean the kale. When the root veggies are soft, add the coconut milk and kale, stir, and give it a couple minutes to warm and wilt. Done. And YUM.

We have to pay in order to have a paper bag when shopping if you forget your reusable bag.

When you're paying with food stamps because you're poor and have zero actual cash... That was awkward when the cashier didn't say "would you like to pay for a paper bag" and instead said "would you like a paper bag" and then when I swiped my card she went "okay your remaining total is..." And I went "excuse me what? I didn't buy anything that wasn't food"

Currently recovering from large amounts of PTSD. I'll post when I can, please ping for replies. Things are very difficult for me right now.
