@Alorrena:
I mean, that's good you're doing alright for the most part.

I recall when we met (at least, fairly sure it was, have horrible memory at times, please excuse that, I am sure you understand as a lot has been going on making it hard to place time with places/things, the whole lot...) that you were going to see family and friends.

That is rough (testing positive and not feeling well + getting COVID) and I am so sorry to hear that.
I haven't got it (at least, I am fairly sure I haven't).* // I will list more under a spoiler.

There was a point a while back before I got vaccinated that I got a severe migraine (thought it was normal as I struggle with cluster headaches which usually turn into massive migraines, still been figuring out what causes this, coming to the conclusion it's most likely gluten-based grains/etc [such as bulgar, rye, spelt, but, not barley, weirdly]) which led to coughing and feeling a lot of chest congestion. However, no coughing out any phlegm, sneezing still occurred, I had a stuffy and runny nose (no green junk), and my cycle was out of wack, sore throat, fatigue, shortness of breath, but, no loss of smell/taste, fever, the worse off symptoms. My husband also didn't get sick, we are both immunocompromised people who struggle with chronic fatigue, so, we feel like it was mostly symptoms of me being over-stressed of waiting to get answers before I could get vaccinated and he was already vaccinated which if it WAS COVID? He was very well protected and less compromised than me.

I feel your husband on the front of having trypanophobia, I couldn't look for the first one, as for the second one? I saw just how small the needle was and it made things easier whereas before, I would have huge panic attacks and in some cases, faint (or worse cases, black out for long time).

I can't even get the 'yearly flu vaccine/shot' due to SEVERE allergies to eggs, usually, egg whites are used in the process of those sorts of vaccines worldwide unless you ask for other specified, here in the Netherlands, there isn't.

// Even though I am a Vegan, I am all for that protecting yourself/taking care of yourself (+ others) is of utmost importance and if this means your medication has an animal byproduct in it. It's just logical and makes the most sense. Other Vegans may not agree, but, most that I know firmly agree on that stance. (By stance, I mean the following; LEAST HARM wherever PRACTICAL and POSSIBLE.) And some people just don't get that, but, I understand, EVERYONE has an opinion.

I hope sometime he can get vaccinated sometime to prevent any issues in the future, which, I know it's scary and intimidating, but, better than getting sick again and dealing with worse repercussions/posing a risk for you and others around you both.

I was told to wait (doctor's recommendation) until I could see a health professional to ensure I wouldn't pass out/faint/have a severe reaction and thankfully, the people who did help me? Were super patient, let me meditate for a bit, and put on music to center my breathing so I didn't have an anxiety attack/panic attack).

Nowadays they make it easier where a partner/family member can be present and it's so fast (thankfully).

A tire blow-out on the day of your packing to moving sounds like a NIGHTMARE! I haven't driven in my life as a 'legal adult' for driving age (in which case would be 16 with others in car or 18+ for by yourself) and because I struggle with c-PTSD + my ADHD makes me distracted, it wouldn't be smart to do so (not that I ever wanted to drive before, but, I could hear it would be a free feeling, but, I don't trust others on roads to not give me anxiety). xD;

I'm glad you are okay despite everything that happened, sounds like a massive adventure;
'Pick your difficulty.' / 'Choose which uses most spoons.'

Apparently so that uh,... this happened. All I can ask is.. HOW?!

( Thanks @Vozzy: & everyone else who works on making this site comfortable & fun ).

@Alorrena:
The length you shared is definitely nice (tea-length). I feel like if I wanted shorter? I'd wait a bit.
I don't blame you for feeling elegant with longer-length dresses. (Need to tone my arms more). ^__^;

Oh no! I hate when I notice something wrong with something I've made, but, they're not a hard fix at least!

Hope you've been doing well otherwise lately. It's good to hear from you! Moving is always stressful.
@Totalanimefan:
Long COVID sounds horrible! I am sorry loves.
I am doing okay now, had a few days of full headaches.
(Pretty sure it's from having gluten a few days, always happens).

@Flower:
Welcome to Voltra!
@Totalanimefan:
That isn't fun, today? I haven't felt too well, woke up with a migraine.
My stomach has been sensitive as well lately, so, not sure what's up with that. D;

Update on the phone saga, my American SIM Card registers there is a SIM Card, finally, BUT!
Sadly? It doesn't connect to any of the towers here, even the T-Mobile one itself. D:

My husband + myself came to the conclusion, that it's not long-distance enabled, so!
I plan on telling my parents about that more as my husband messaged them and dad called on FB.

I was asleep when he called. So, that's a thing. Fingers crossed he can talk to them today.
I should make my dinner as I am hungry, but, also feeling fairly dizzy/tired.

@Alorrena:
I haven't felt well I am just now starting to reply, I am so sorry!
If I wear a dress? I will usually wear leggings under it (for long ones).

(Like my wedding dress was the only time I didn't and it felt weird). D:

To be fair? I am not big of a fan of shorter ones, I feel I will when I lose weight.
(I've been working on that for myself + feeling proud of that so far).

@ShyFirefly:
I'd say it gained more traction once the remake came out but, Shadow of the Colossus.
In fact, a lot of things made by Team ICO. I never played Ico or The Last Guardian though.
But! I have seen play-throughs of TLG by some of my friends who also stream.

I miss New Leaf so much, in that is another mini-game called 'Desert Island Escape'.
My friend Crystal used to stream that a lot and people would whine, "This isn't New Leaf!"
Even though it's a little puzzle/adventure kind of game, it's still adorable no less.

Other games I feel are under-rated:
Mirror's Edge, A Walk in the Dark, & Dust: An Elysian Tail.

(Still need to beat Dust & Walk in the Dark).
@Wildfire:
I agree the USA can be very loud, not only that? The pollution levels are higher and makes it harder to breathe.

Soy isn't bad for people unless they are allergic to it.
People worry due to its estrogen, it's phytoestrogen, aka plant estrogen.
Doesn't act in the same way that dairy does, etc. ^__^;

Studies have shown how it's (soy) helpful against many health diseases.

My biggest recommendation is if you want more information to check out NutritionFacts.
It's run by a Doctor named Michael Greger. He reads every medical literature published.
Then he puts everything together with provided sources/medical findings to show fact from fiction.

As well as corn and potato aren't bad, I don't see anything bad for someone-
UNLESS! They are sensitive to starch /or/ have a harder time digesting it.

Cattle and most animals are fed more soy, corn, wheat and other things than people who stick to WFPB do per year.
The amount of water that goes into watering the crops, then clearing fields (mostly the amazon sadly), to feed animals?
Is a MUCH larger issue than me (or others) who consume soy/plant-based alternatives.

There is a documentary on all of this called Cowspiracy and they update their website with the latest information.

If you believe something else? I entirely get it. - I have reversed by T2D by switching to WFPB.
I am also not here to judge what you eat/do for your own health. I've just many great things come about studying this all.

I used to be 300lbs in September 2016 when I learned about animals treatment.
By June 2017, I got down to 219lbs. I gained a lot of weight back due to junk food.

Been working through that lately and eating a lot more balanced and feeling much better.
I gained back to almost my highest weight when I stopped nourishing/caring for myself.

I stayed Vegan for the animals (by definition, this is what Veganism is about, not some diet trend).
The definition I follow is the term that was coined in the 1940s by the Vegan Society found here.
@Totalanimefan:
Right?! Round 2 turned out better anyways I am sure as we took our time with it.
Ugggghh yesss warm bread dipped in balsamic is truly chefs kiss, a masterpiece!

I was aware T-Mobile bought them, there is T-Mobile over here in the Netherlands.
They told my parents to update to their service as we have Sprint SIM cards?
That it would be important to have their own SIM cards. (Which, I mean, okay.. sure.)

I told my parents it would be best to see if they put the SIM card into the new phone they sent for me.
(They being T-Mobile) - More than anything, I would just need my parents' info for T-Mobile to activate.

They seem to think that won't work, but, I know if I took the phone in with SIM Card they sent already
(one they mailed me when T-Mobile said I'd need a new one and not Sprints, eye-roll, I know)
then take it into the location here, they could activate it easier over here, but, my parents are still worried.

So I said, "Well, if you activate the phone there? Keep it there, mail me just the SIM Card & I will get phone eventually."
They just worry that it won't "work that way" when I know that it will, especially if I am putting it in my old phone.

Or, if I had to have a new phone? My husband and I can easily accommodate for that vs them paying $200 for shipping.

You would think, their daughter/child, now 31 (turning 32 in July) who has worked on computers from age of 5 no less,
would UNDERSTAND how these things WORK, and if you don't trust your DAUGHTER CHILD? Has a husband.
Who works in IT, by the way, understands electronics and how most things work or function.

But, no, I get their concerns. It's just... frustrating.
@Totalanimefan:
No problem! That's never any fun (having no energy to even make tea or cook)!
That's good that today is going decent for you though. Today has been so off and odd.

Learned from my husband that the food we prepped me yesterday? Had mold.
Turns out? I used the pasta sauce I accidentally left out vs the one I put in the fridge. D:

Otherwise, I've been sticking to eating foods and not cooking with oil, some foods still have it.
But, my brain fog is mostly gone, also haven't had gluten and am feeling SO much better.

Tonight's dinner was brown rice pasta with; carrots, celery, crumbled tofu kale, mushrooms, onions & zucchini.
I added a premade marinara for sauce and at the end topped it with fresh basil, sriracha & nutritional yeast.

Also found my love of balsamic vinegar again, could literally drink it straight, but, I shouldn't. ^__^;
The one I found gives me big nostalgia for when my mom and I would eat at this Italian restaurant.

They'd give you sliced whole wheat sourdough bread and on the side was balsamic and oil to dip it in.
Ugh, I am drooling. I cannot wait to experiment with making gluten-free baked bread at home.

Speaking of my mother, I got to talk to her and dad today, that got stressful.
They have to mail me a new SIM card as Sprint no longer is a thing & they don't understand electronics.

Also had to explain how to put Facebook Messenger on speaker as well as how they can call me there.

@Alorrena:
LOVE pockets, I am always so uncomfy with dresses. ;o;
@Totalanimefan:
Oh no! I hope you recover soon! ;o;
It's been raining here lately and it's so calm.
@Wildfire:
Also, yes! Flying back into USA my first time I was like, "This feels wrong..."
