@Totalanimefan:
No need to be sorry, I just would like to move on with my life without stress. :3
I am glad it helped you a lot and while I am nervous about a lot of it, I feel it will help a lot.
Posted in 6-hour flight tomorrow Posted 2 years ago
I wish you the best of luck with your flight!
Last time I flew was December 28th, 2019.
(Moved from Oregon to Netherlands as you know).
@Totalanimefan:
Life has a few negative things that happened about a week ago, but, life goes on.
Reading about people's experiences in EMDR sound like it can be scary, but, helpful.
More than anything, nervous and hopeful it will be good and get answers to questions. ;o;
@Totalanimefan:
No worries, real-life things happen and as you can see, I got busy myself.
I fell back off track with a lot and trying to get back into the swing of things.

As of May 20th, I have been put back on ADHD medication and doing better mentally.
Been on a waiting list for EMDR as of January this year and was waiting to hear back.

A few days ago? Week or week and a half ago? I got an email recently saying I may start in October!
I am very nervous, but, I know it will help. I also really need to work on updating this list. xD;

Hope all is going well for you! Sounds like the move took a lot, but, you did/are doing it!

@Alorrena:
I am fairly sure it works that way at least, because, I've tagged multiple people before when replying. ^__^;
Glad to hear you are doing well lately. It's always nice to see you around when I least expect it. xD;
My day is going well. Took 1/2 of my medicine this morning and I got 30 minutes of cleaning done! :3

@Alorrena:
This also goes without saying that it also works for tagging multiple users at once.
(PS, lovely seeing you around Alorrena, hope all is well for you lately, hope you have a lovely day ahead).

(Adding this at the top to say PHEW I had a LOT to say, apologies). xD;

Hm, may need to actually install it now. Oh nooo I clicked a buttonnnn~ Hah.
I'll keep you updated, added you on here, I could also PM you my Discord/Steam if you prefer chatting there? o:

Also? YES! I agree on being afraid of wasting so much paper. My OCD+OCPD definitely love digital more for that reason.
Also the reason you mentioned (getting the PERFECT line you want). It's the sketching that bothers me too.

(Very heavy-handed and with digital art, it helps to have LAYERS and VERY light color of grey on a medium grey background).
I also have an issue with traditional inking as I am left-handed and have to deal with smudges (even with paper between).

But, I will say, lining a piece of art is the easier part for me in a traditional sense with Microns (LOVE so much and have no regrets).
I think it's mostly because I know which way the art flows/turns/what not and they dry very fast and look lovely on paper.

I find lining art on the computer a little more stressful and intimidating, I am not exactly sure why, maybe not used to tablet?
(It is newish for me and have used it only a few times out of anxiety of messing up even with undo button, etc).

I've been tempted to do an idea I've had in my mind for a while and maybe you might find it helpful, given if you have the stuff.

- Do sketches on my tablet (Huion Kamvas 20) & remove the dark grey layer + print so it's on white background (saves ink).
- Draw (pencil) over the sketch I printed with a bit heavier lines, scan it in/take a photo and draw OVER it + manipulate as needed.
- Print (2nd piece of paper) removing background and the drawing over it is still faded enough to see it to draw over it again.

By this point, 2 pieces of paper have been used and you have your final lined art, OR close to your final art.

- By printing a THIRD* time, you have line-art you know you like and then you can color in and be completed with traditional+digital.
- Or, you can have faded lines to TRACE over to get your hand used to traditional more even though it is a mix of both T&D.
- Final option: You can have your final art lined and COLORED in a digital media program (ex; I use CSP:EX // Clip Studio Paint:EX).

*You may not even need to have a third printing, but, the first two would help you see how far you've come/what you learned.
**This trick is something I have never seen, but, fairly sure someone else has thought of this method. But hey, less waste?!
(I consider this less wasteful as I know I would otherwise fill up a sketchbook or have tons of loose papers EVERYWHERE including trash-bin).

I also don't see any problem with getting references from other photos of poses/art online, but, not directly copy, obviously.
I also don't see any problem with tracing YOUR OWN ART to LEARN what your own style is, even if you manipulate it in a program.

I cannot express how much people try to gatekeep others from different ways of learning as we learn at our own pace.
Also, as artists, one person had to inspire another person for that person to inspire millions and that's powerful + beautiful.
@Totalanimefan:
You're always so sweet TAF. I appreciate you so much. Thank you again (and thank you for the trade).

I have more updates than just my own physical health, but, my mental health is getting better.
Sometimes? It just takes time and patience to get to where we want to be, but, we are doing it.

I hope everything goes well for you and that I will see you after the week as I am sure you'll be busy.

As far as food goes? It could be going better, obviously, but, I am learning what sets off pain.

(I am fairly sure it is gluten-based-grains/foods, but, it could also be a vegetable/fruit my body doesn't like too much too)*.
*(Growing up I was sensitive to rosemary, now? Not many issues, same with coconut and I can 'handle' it now).

My body is different in the aspect that sometimes, I am fine with something, other times? Big nope. xD;

◦✹ @Vegan: Thanks is an oldie :3
I tried to make a rainbow avi as well but failed. I don't have enough rainbow items.

I hope your day goes smoothly too! ✹◦

Quoting this because it's easier for me to remember what I replied to last (may not recall).
Also, I worried I wouldn't have a lot of rainbow things so my friend gave me things.
(Which, I did mention earlier in my post prior, sorry for the double post/response if I did). u__u;
@Purpsy:
Fair enough! I saved the avatar and am happy with it!

No problem with welcoming you! GW2 I've heard of many times! :3
Strawdew Valley is lovely, still need to play it further. ; n;

I own Dragon Age: Origins (which I got for free and it sounds interesting).

I also have heard of Rune Factory from so many of my fellow streaming friends. :3

Casual games are nice to relax to and enjoy in your own time and so I totally get that.

Traditional art is always lovely, but, I feel you on the undo button. xD;
Once I got my current tablet and switched back to pencil+paper, I was like,
"Where is the ctrl+z?" HUGE facepalm moment, but, digital is a lot easier too I feel.

Also less waste of paper, especially if it's hard to erase the lines you make.
(Especially myself, I usually make those papers scrap paper to write notes on, heavy leftie here). xD;
@Totalanimefan:
Always a pleasure to see you lovely!
@Totalanimefan:
Thank you so much and it definitely is a big deal for me especially since I stalled!
Thank you also so much for wishing me better days ahead with my health.

Food still triggers headaches/migraines because I am stubborn and keep eating gluten grains.
(I have been learning more about what triggers issues for me, so it will help long term to do better).

This week has been pretty cool here weather-wise, but, we had a few warm days, wasn't a fan. xD;
Glad your puppo is better! Also, I hope you enjoy the company over the week!

Always good to hear from you by the way and I appreciate you always coming around.
Need to update my donated items list today as my friend gave me some items to have rainbow stuffs! :3
@Purpsy:
Fair enough! This current one with a cookie in the mouth is adorable too.
I am glad you had a good night's rest! I hope the other stuff goes easy.
