I wish we knew what the bundles are going to cost.


Angel keeps yelling at me to take her outside. It is humid out today and it looks like it's going to rain and she's just sitting here yelling at me that she wants to go out XD

There, got my sewing machine ready for some sewing. The hum of a sewing machine is such a nice sound. Dont think I'm going to get much sewing done tonight though. Might just leave it for tomorrow.

Might be I'll just get pieces of the quilt I'm going to be working on sorted, prepped, and arranged so I can just sit down and sew away. Can't wait. I've really been itching to finish up a few UFOs and start on a nice fresh project.

I think after supper I'm going to clean my sewing machine and then maybe I can finally get some sewing done today now that I have a presser foot for my machine again

I need to pick up some groceries this weekend, I'll have to grab some lettuce.

I should look at the grocery add. I haven't even looked at this weeks newspaper

It's too bad I dont have any lettuce. I'm finally getting ripe tomatoes, a BLT sandwich would be tasty.

Its almost suppertime. I should make some supper.

No, the quilt binding is what goes around the sides of a quilt, to cover the raw edges.

I'm going to eventually stitch the hexagons together into rings and applique them to a background square and add some sashing strips between the squares to make a quilt out of eventually.

Probably going to have to pick up a little bit more of it at some point. I would like to try to get at least a twin size quilt eventually.

But a little bit at a time, because spendy. The tiny bit of precuts and binding I bought the other day came to about 65 dollars.

I just splurged the other day on some hexagon precuts of Liberty of London tana cotton lawn. And 6 yards of binding.

Liberty of London fabric is gorgeous but ouch is it spendy.

Now that I actually have a spot set up for my sewing machine I'm going to try to start sewing more often. Starting with trying to use up some of my fabric stash I have built up.

I have quilts to work on. Trying to get a tshirt quilt finished for a cousin and I wanted to make my parents a quilt for Christmas.

I'm glad my presser feet I ordered came today. And I got some cleaning brushes and oil for my sewing machine, so I can give it a good cleaning after sitting in a closet all last summer

Gosh darnit. Yesterday was payday and I forgot to ask about my first paycheck today

Its Friday and I actually get a weekend this weekend. Technically a 4 day weekend since I dont work till Tuesday
