It's an old fantasy book that I found in a shop called 2nd and Charles in colorado
for like $2
It was written in the 90's if I remember right, so its not anything like big name or whatever

But anyway its about this gypsy girl who plays a lute
and then some weird drama jazz happens and she's given this magic lute that like talks to her sorta, and it's a super secret important message for The Queen
and so she's given this quest to go to said Queen and give her the lute to receive this message and save humanity from weird demon things.
Lots of grim stuff, and the last portion of the book I really didn't like. Touched on too much r*pe subjects and resolved it in a very untasteful manner, imo.

BUT I got on a subject and can't remember the book's title!! I already donated it a few weeks ago lmao

The cover is like browns/oranges and made all sorta elegant looking
with a big lute on the cover and a little lady and dude riding on a horse, she's playing a little lute

Funny side bit
My fiance--I'll just call him Jellymoth since that's his twitter name--was at work the other day prepping meat or something. He has this teen coworker who was in the kitchen prepping something also, and he sees the ring on Jelly's hand under his glove. This baffled the guy and he was like "what is that? is that like.. are you married or something?"

and this kid couldn't really figure out what it meant and was just asking such silly questions like "what is engagement? isn't that the same thing?" and trying to work through his stoned-out confusion while my fiance just watches in amusement :vanora_xd:

He tells me about all the reactions he gets at work and its hilarious and adorable. We keep forgetting that people are way more friendly here than where we came from. So it really makes us happy when even our coworkers talk to us.

I always avoid over preparing because I want things to flow naturally. But sometimes there are questions asked that I really don't know the answers to, even if I studied ahead. Like not normal interview questions or something I never knew of. Like my last interview was for a promotion and she asked me 3 questions that would show how well I can handle customer service issues. But they were HARD questions like... I flunked all 3.

But I didn't fail the interview for it (and she helped me learn from those questions). Keep in mind that everyone knows that interviews are uncomfortable for people, and being asked something on the spot can be troubling. They expect nervousness and its OK to pause and think for a second. I will do that sometimes and as I pause, I take a deep breathe while I think, and somehow i always find SOMETHING to say ^^;

That sounds pretty too! I'm real hard to buy this style ring for because I don't like a mountain of diamonds, or anything too big, or anything too expensive, or anything too "cookie cutter". I just wanted something that suited us, that he and I both liked. Wanted a nice artistic design, particularly in the metal itself. Etsy has a lot of designs where they sculpt the metal into intricate ways, it became hard to choose. But we felt this one fit best xD
He was a little easier, he wanted a black tungsten ring that isn't too bulky, but has also something creative in the metal works. I love what he picked!

We didn't do any bent knee proposal, not really into that sort of thing. Maybe its the mild aspergers in me but I never understood how that gets set up without making everyone uncomfortably awkward LOL I dont like public attention anyway, so maybe we'll just do a cute photoshoot later on idk
I can't actually remember how we brought up engagements? We went through a lot together and still came out laughing, so we figured we can get through anything at this point. He knows I'm not into the idea of waiting until I'm asked, so we probably both brought it up naturally lmao

I haven't done a whole lot of cleaning at home since I've been working long hours so much.
But we have remodeling going on at work lately (3 months of deafening noises ;;;; ) where my department gets moved to the other end of the building. There we have brand new cash wrap and desks, ect. While my managers moved and hooked up our mattresses and adjustable bases, my duty was to move and organize all the little things! So yeah I guess that counts lol
One manager helped finish off the cleaning since I had some items that I didn't know what they were/where they go (like documents or manager belongings) and everything looks soooo good now

I just have to show it!

Haha yess! The last couch I had was a big L shaped thing that was sold to me for $300 (wayyyy less than they bought it for) cause they didnt like how stiff it was. They were too rich to care, and very generous to those with less money lmao
I left it with an ex cause he had a home for it and I didnt when I moved out XD we split on calm terms so I didnt mind.

I cant wait til I can have a dining table though! My home is currently too small, but ONE DAY >:D

Yeah I mostly aimed cheap cause I have a new kitten who will probably stab at any sofa I get. So I dont want to care too much about it Haha
We're still training her so that'll get better. But cats will be cats!

She has one little chair that she's allowed to stab to get it out of her system xD

BUT I GOT A COUCH! :DDD

Like I had one on order since July. Cause yknow, material shortages, furniture stores are really struggling to keep up with orders. The couch I ordered is like this, super cheapy thing. Its pretty dang comfortable, like moreso than some of the $2k sofas they carry tbh

so it gets a lot of orders cause its cheap af in cost compared to the rest of the store.

I work next door for mattress sales so I talk with these guys a lot, so I get updates pretty frequently. My couch kept getting delayed further and further and I didn't care all too much, but I do hate my computer chair being my only thing to sit on in my home aside from my bed xD

BUT with our building under some major remodels, they need to get a lot of furniture off the floor asap to make space to condense things. So this floor model thats like... pretty much brand ass new, was chucked on sale. From being a $1600 loveseat to $200. Its one of those deals like you buy it if you can pick it up same day, cause it needs GONE and we cant do same day delivery (not enough drivers/trucks sadly, we're going through worker shortages too)

But because I work with them, our drivers agreed to squeeze me on for next-day delivery. I upgraded to a setup delivery (even though its just being plopped right next to the front door) to basically give our drivers extra pay for doing this for me ;v;;;

BUT Now I have a recliner :D and I got refunded like $150 for the difference in cost compared to my other order
