@Shadami: Ahhh... that's one of those things that makes both zero difference but all the difference in the world...that invisible line between the U.S. and Canada. I can 100% see why and how communicating through internet options would be your best bet :3

@Wildfire: Well it'd be going slightly more successfully if a tiny dog hadn't just laid on the bed between me and the keyboard lmao. He's happy though so I guess I can't be too mad. XD
...And now he's moved to laying on my arm. :I
@Wildfire: yeah. We don't know how we're going to be together yet. But right now trying to make visits when we can for a week or two at a time is the current plan. I already miss him horribly and he just went home for Thanksgiving xD

@Wildfire: They really are. Toki is half chihuahua, so he's pretty tiny. He likes to get in my face sometimes and demand cuddles.

I find that usually the little dogs receive less training and they can be pretty aggressive if you're not part of their immediate inner circle. I suspect it's because (at least in part) due to their size... owners can always just pick them up to stop the bad behavior, so the actual behavior and training tends to suffer... /shrug/

@Wildfire: We are attempting to train him to deal with strangers better but it's very slow-going. When you've got a bitey dog it's scary to let him near new people at all, you know? And I'm not a dog person--and he's technically my roommate's dog though at this point he's pretty much both ours--so I have no experience with training one.
I understand cats, not so much dogs. Lol.
