@Purpsy: Cats are a special and very different thing... I've had some wonderful, attentive and attached cats in my time and some very aloof ones...
@Wildfire: Yes there are too many different types of events where women are expected to wear different things depending. For men it's either a suit or a tux. lol, but pretty much 80% of the time they could just get away with a suit lol
Good part is all of those dresses are from various consignment stores so they didn't cost me much lol. I did rent a dress out for the last occasion I needed one. ^^
@Totalanimefan: Yes. I've actually thought about buying a suit and just wearing that 90% of the time to anything that requires dressing up... but... Florida. There's little here in terms of activities or events that requires more than flip-flops! XD (this is not a philosophy I follow, btw, but it does seem to be the case most of the time)
@Wildfire: FL can be pretty casual. Sometimes in places like West Palm or Miami they dress up. Maybe I should get a suit? lol
@Totalanimefan: Yeah, it's pretty casual. I have been to events where people dress up a bit, which is nice, but it doesn't seem to happen very often (I'm closer to Tampa and Orlando than Miami/West Palm)

@Wildfire: Yes it does for sure. I feel like people really go all out on the fancy New Year's Parties. I'm not doing that this year. I'll be at home, but during New Year's Day I think I'm going hiking with my neighbor. So that will be fun!
