oohh actually is pressure cooking like ... it's like steaming stuff? except the steam creates super high pressure cuz it doesn't leave the container

koneko ahh well as long as u have the essentials ! a lot of stuff turns up w time too , like moving sales or friends giving stuff away
in ny at least there's constantly good stuff getting curbed , or ppl selling nice stuff for super cheap cuz they just need to get it out of the apt so they can move , etc

re: dried beans true ! soaking and boiling them takes soooo long on the stove top ... instant pot / pressure cooker is such a game changer :0
i don't have one rn but the one i usually have i use on a pretty regular basis!!

oof yeah winging it w baking is ok if you have tools and are just being mildly imprecise ... but eyeballing half a cup using like ... glasses ... wouldn't recommend lol

wildfire oh nice! do you usually make beans from like dried / scratch ?
i think i would normally since it's cheaper and cooking for one ... but rn i have housemates and foresight ... hard ...
i don't think i've had white bean chili before but it sounds like everything would go really well together!! :3
i added toast / fresh tomato for texture and the egg for extra protein since there wasn't any meat in it

lol i'm making chocolate chip cookies but there aren't measuring cups here so i've been winging it ahaha ...
they seem edible but i think they might be closer to "chocolate chip cookie flavored baked goods"

if u want input ... personally i'd do light yellow for the office (bright, cheerful, energizing) and light blue (#2 or 3) for the bedroom (calming, relaxing, sleep) !
