hmm what have i been up to ... lots of sleeping tbh haha ... sometimes i'll sit or eat outside, or really low key hangs, like a friend coming over
sometimes i'll play a little bit of video game, my partner got me into an old star wars rpg called knights of the old republic -- i don't know anything abt star wars but i'm having a lot of fun playing! would rec actually
also have been baking lately! my friend has a lemon crinkle recipe that is sooo good, and i made brownies for my housemate's birthday the other day too. i might make some more cookies today, just have to stop by the corner store :-)

hey all! how is everyone's day going?
i've been trying to rest more this week as i'm healing from a minor concussion u0u
it has been kind of nice to have to take it easy all the time if i'm being honest! i feel like i usually am doing a lot of stuff and i like having the ability to say no super easily because people understand that health is important

yeah it's been kind of boring haha not really being able to read or use my computer ... but in other ways it was a nice break too! like i could be like sorry no thinky only concussioni

xvz, that’s so rough ; A ; I hope all the symptoms clear up soon. I’ve heard of people needing to take breaks from all phones/computers/screens after really bad concussions, it’s wild D:
The house is good! Since we moved in we had to have a couple things fixed but nothing we couldn’t handle ; u ;. And then in October I got a job w a small business. Mostly I wrap and label products, but it’s chill, the whole company is like 5 of us and I don’t have to deal with customers so that’s pretty great.

@xvz: just 3 days. it was like a weekend get away during the week lol. we just walked around, shopped, ate good food. We gambled a little bit but mostly it was walking and hotel hopping. you can walk in and out of the hotels to gamble and/or shop.
The bigger hotels have retail shops inside.

My weekend was good. I unpacked a lot but also got to enjoy hanging with a friend and feeling the beginnings of summer.

how is work?? did you get a new job since we last talked? (ahh it’s been so long!!)
how is your home?? i remembered last time i was active you had just moved :-) how did settling in go?
my head is mostly feeling better — i’m still a little sensitive to bright light, like if it’s really sunny out, and i get tired really easily … like i find socializing to wear me out, trying to follow a real time conversation and like processing information @@

My head is better now. Our sink/washing area at work is like partially under the stairs, so there’s a wall that slopes to the ground and I was kneeling to put something down and when I stood up I smacked my head into the sloped wall :’ )
I’ve not been up to much new. Just trying to take it easy till work picks up again in the fall.
